I love mikes channel! He does a great job with his channel. Keep up the good work Buckin! Glad you’re back at the axes. I hope all is well. Love to you and the family❤️
I built myself a new wedge banger a couple of weeks ago, it's nothing special but boy does it feel good to have a decent axe again. The head is one that came from the collection of old heads found in the shed years ago, it has no makers marks what so ever but I know it's not a cheap chinese one because it was one my Father in-law had in the shed and he has been deceased for almost 50 years.

I do wish we could be at Buckin Stock this year, with everything that's been going on with my health, we all need a vacation! But I guess when the time is right, it will happen. To those that will be at Buckin Stock, be safe and have fun! Welcome to all new subscribers! Please don't ever be shy, this community is full of great, wonderful, and loving folks! Much love to all!
Awesome vid wit the axes and those handles yikes they're lovely! Hello to all ... new subs and yinz been here and there and everywhere , love yinz all and make a great kind day!
In the last 5-6 years I figure I’ve restored 500 axes. My personal collection at its biggest was around 60. I collected Sagers and CM McClung Hardware Co axes out of my old town of Knoxville Tennessee. I’ve since lost the drive. I walked a flea market yesterday that had probably 1000 axes available and didn’t buy anything. Days gone by.
I have a Sager chemical with the stamp thats tiny and hard to see like that! Its actually a very small double bit head and i put a short handle like a saddle axe.
hey buckin' how can you tell if your axe head is any good for smacking wedges. I've got a couple I acquired from a garage sale they're from the 1970s nothing crazy but wanted to use one as my go-to axe for wedges etc
Yeeaey!! Back again after a wee bit of trouble with the wi-fi here.. routers going awol and all that not so good stuff.. to top it of, we've had an all time heat wave with the temps running waaay above 30C, and that's not the best scenario for a northern man.. Haha!! Welcome to the new subs coming in, it's a pleasure to see ya here :) To the golden oldies.. well, what can one say? Nothing but respect and love to you all :) Oooouuuver n' oooot !!
