"We have lived in this house for a hundred and twenty years. We never had no problems *'cept for Yankees."* (possible reference from RDR2 to this game)
Can’t help but feel bad for the civilians of the south who lost their stuff during Sherman’s scorched earth tactics even though I know about the south’s slavery and worse stuff. Still, it was Sherman’s march that helped turn the war in favor of the Unions and their eventual victory, turning the States into what it is. P.S. It appears that I have started the second Civil War in the replies. I again, I do not condone slavery and is extremely against racism both from the past, present, and the future.
@@AFGuidesHD Well Sherman and Grand know how to use terror and COLD BLOOD TACTICS TO WIN. Sherman by Atacking Atlanta, litelary make big part of Confederates man, to leave army, to protects homes. and Grand time after time, SEND HIS MAN TO DIE IN STUPID CHARGES vs LEE, because he know, he can loose even 40k man in battle. He still have like 100k more waiting for ther turn, when Lee dont have this luxus.
That bothers you too? I thought I was the only one. Aaaaand..... the phony rank insignia on the Confederate uniforms, the fact that the entire Union army seemed to be armed with Winchester repeating rifles, and the medals on the confederate General's uniform, one of which appears to have used a US Medal of Honor as its model. Most people don't know this, but the Confederacy never decorated its soldiers. The idea was that any man who served was already a hero by definition.
@@naverilllang They were unreliable for military use until 1873 and there was only one, the S&W Model 1 which was introduced in about 1858. It did fire a metallic cartridge, but it was a .22 short. Nonetheless, they were rather popular early in the war as private purchase weapons. So you might be right if you are also suggesting that these guys are going around plinking at each other with .22's. Other revolvers did utilize cartridge ammo, but those cartridges were made of cloth or paper, so reloading was still more complex than with metallic cartridges. Those guys are carrying 1858 Remington New Army Model Revolvers, which were a pain to reload unless one was carrying extra pre-loaded cylinders.
This level glitched hard for me when I was playing this game. Ray was floating towards the objective, the union soldiers were all T-posing, and the gun models weren’t visible.
Now colonel Barnsby. I am fully convinced that in the current military situation you probably have many more important tasks than chasing two deserters. So your personal grudge will have to wait. If you are not capable of prioritizing, perhaps you should not be in command.

Wathing her die was nice, however nice quote.
great characters and story, miss this. imagine if this game had the same budget as RDR2
Red Dead Redemption 0 looks pretty good ngl
well Dutch's father did die in the Gettysburg battle (for the Union, of course) so youre not too far off lmao
Yea
This game has an interesting topic/setting I'd like to see what a more modern game version would look like
check out War of Rights
They did a modern version of Call of Juarez and it killed the franchise
This game is so underrated, great story and characters and fun gameplay. Still remember the story well 12+ years later, the ending was emotional
This is much better than Battlefield 2042 and COD Vanguard
Such a solemn moment ruined by "press X to auto-aim trigger" moments LOL

yeah burning down people's homes is a real interesting way to "reunite" your "union"

@@AFGuidesHD dude. you saw that big castle in this video, that was built from a thousands slaves blood and tears. Peoples home my ass
@@Omertahun somehow I doubt slave owning ranches were the only targets of Sherman's campaign.
@@AFGuidesHD they weren’t and many small towns suffered from this tactic. The city of saint Mary’s Georgia suffered this tactic too
ngl the guy who voiced Ray kinda sounds like plankton from spongebob at times lmao
Ray and Thomas don't need Confederacy they got family or what's left of it.
family like Billy 🙃
If this was a us civil war game I would have been happy
My head is going to explode from watching them load cartridges into a damn black powder pistol🧐😕😡🤬
Cartridge revolvers were around in the civil war
@@naverilllang yes, there were, but this weapon in the video, is a black powder pistol!!

I got all the good Civil War strategy games wish we had more 1st or 3rd person ones. War of Rights is pretty good but it doesn't have single player.
History channel did civil war games for the 360 back in the day.
I just finished this game awhile ago lol.
No one asked
Yeah no one asked

it's called the "comment" section not the "answers" section

I wish there was a game about the civil war
Run away it's a trap!
There are two of them
good gameplay
The Blackman will have their revenge on the CSA
what? the north treated blacks worse and had slaves during the war and after the war.
I see General Sherman is out winning the war :)
0:42 - ''Cold Moutain'' inspiration? No...CoD 🤣
Well this is interesting
