Congratulations Alex It is a process and the goals will be reached, your 100 right if you work it, it will work. Most people just set the goal but it fails usually because they find out how hard it is. So great job dude!!
Congratulation Alex I’ve been following you for a long time. You definitely put in the work and now you’re reaping the rewards. Like the channel take care and safe travels.
Bro congratulations I’m super proud that you made your goal. I remember watching the video that you wanted to do a million and I knew you’d get it done
You are an inspiration to all who want to start a hotshot business!! You were definitely mine! I ended up starting out with a 25+5 and recently moved to Houston.
I’m from California, I’ve been considering moving out to Texas and giving this a shot. Can you give us some feedback on how’s its been going? I have enough capital to start with a 40+8 too!
Alex I have been the owner o 2 small trucking companies and a repo company your doing it rite and you're a great owner operator change nothing and continue to grow good luck and much success to you Sir
Congrats on your success. You deserve it, youve been working hard perfecting your craft. Its not easy to start a business and reach the level on where u are. You took action and you made this far. Im also buying my own Semi next yr and start my journey as owner op. Congrats again
I just started a Hot Shot biz and have one major client that gives me 90% of my loads. But…. When I try to pick up extra loads during the week almost all the Brokers are telling me you have to be in business 3-6 months before they will use me🤦🏻♂️ I’ve got my MC, DOT, Insurance but it doesn’t matter. Just saying make sure you have steady work before you dive in by yourself!!!
Interesting thing about the insurance that you use. "Three insurance" isn't available in the northern tier of states including Washington, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota and Minnesota. The headquarters in Omaha doesn't know if it will ever be available there. I spent more on insurance in 2020 $7580 than I did on diesel $6530. Now with diesel up 40% I'm certain insurance will take second place. Seems in the current situation costs are rising faster than rates.
So my husband and I just started a hotshot business here in Conroe, Tx. I watch your videos and they have been very informative. I would love to learn more from you. Keep up the good work
I remember watching you when the pandemic started, just a random video that came up on my list; ever since, I’ve heavily considered getting my into the business. Hope to pull the trigger soon! Congrats on your success, thank you for being a motivation for many 👍🏼
Your right. Custom tarps are not cheap. I pick my set up tomorrow morning in SLC from Sharps Tarps that cost me $1891.01. I ordered 28' long, 6' drops with 8' flap. Had the extra row of D-rings added and the opposite end of the flap sewn like a steel tarp. Then I have the 2' extensions so I can have a full 8' drop if need be.
Thank You!!! You have talked about your tarp sizes before, but it never really sunk in. The D-rings 8 feet apart at the top is EXACTLY what I've been wanting and never understood why they are about 9 feet apart on standard tarps. So when you have a low height load, the D-rings go past the rub rail and what a PITA for things like 1/2" plate or boiler tubes. I wonder if there are any vendors out there who could add extra rows to an existing tarp...mine are less than 2 years old with no rips or grommet issues.

Hello Tow Piglet. Do you have multiple trucks now? I was bicycling across country and about 3 weeks ago I was in Northern California in the beautiful Redwood forest. When I was passed on a winding road road by a hotshot pulling empty trailer with TOW PIGLET on the side of truck. I haven't watched your videos in over a year. But I surely remember Tow PIGLET:)
The love from his employee that gave the cake💚companies need to have more bosses like this. Reason why my husband is going into being his own boss💚another hotshot w/40ft trailer otr soon🙏🏼god bless you all for your hard dedicated work
Just had a truck hauled for me but it is 14k lbs. Otherwise I would have tried to get in touch with you for the haul. Needed a low deck as well. 1400 miles & cost $3750. Was fair in my book. No other way to get it. Congrats on reaching & passing your goal. Keep it going.
I seen one of your drivers last week on the side of the interstate near Sayer O.K. on I40. That pink decal sticks out for sure haha. Then I seen another truck on I80 the next day.
To add onto your last statement, insurance does not like you growing too fast as well, we are finding that out as we shop around for new insurance. And Airtable is a God Send to help to stay on top of things, I run 2 other businesses that take up way less time than the trucking, but it has made life for all of us easier. I would recommend it to everyone.
Congratulations. You are putting in the work. I hope you price loads well above your costs. My buddy is hard worker. He works too cheap. It’s often better to only accept work that makes decent $$$
That load that shifted should have had each pallet wrapped in shrink wrap!! I drive a hit shot and I haul everything from skid steers to silk sock for the pipeline!! And no, it doesn't pay well at all!!! I work for the company and drive the company truck and trailer!!! Everyone thinks pipeliners make alot but only a select few make good money!!
Alex congrats on reaching your goals and it sure looks like you may exceed it by 50% i know your videos take time to film edit and upload but i have followed you from day one the last 11 weeks have been some of the best videos you have uploaded i for one am sure going to miss them 😭 As always God bless you and keep safe out there 🙋♂️ 🇬🇧
But Alex, you could have bought cheap tarps and have a local upholstery sewing or car seat upholstery shops sew in ears so you don't have to use grommets.... ;)

It just as hard getting a truck like trailers. I got my dually truck and now need a trailer. California don’t have to many places. Where can I go financing a trailer
Quick question, I’m a RV transporter and I was just approached by a hotshot company for a job. Question is he told me I could make 7 to 8 thousand dollars a week with a 80/20 split with the company. Does that sound right. Right now I’m making between $1.80 & 1.60 per mile per load. But in order to make 3500 to 4000 dollars per RV I have to travel to California, Oregon, Washington from Indiana and dead head back unless there is back haul that the company has set up
Trying to find a enterprise fleet rental, being told your videos were old and that they no longer lease to hot shot operations. Any assistance with leasing or contact information would be appreciated. being told this by the Dallas area group. if i have to go out of state, thats fine. just jumping through hoops for info.
Gross number sound really good in all of that good stuff but we won that numbers we want to know how much money you put out in your business. That includes everything fuel license pay maintenance road service the whole nine yards.

Why don’t you try a truck with three 12 ft tarps if it works out you would only need one size tarps then to have spares on hand
Max out your 401k don’t worry about going into debt hang in there as long as you can and you’ll have something after the dust settles
