I played ball for 9 years I've played travel ball for 4 years of the 9 I loved and still love baseball I also pitched for 6 of the 9 years. I also played high school ball that was in the 70s. I had Peaple looking at my pitching skills but at that time something happened in my life that has haunted me all my life. I'm 54 now my dad got sick my mother was a house wife he worked at gm for 18 years. So he couldn't work anymore I had to quit school and get a job to help my family and I dnt regret that part but what I regret is the fact. That I didn't try hard enough to stay in the game. I couldn't concentrate everything I did was to save my family b cause I loved them mom dad sister and brother soooo needless to say I never played base ball again. And the point of this story is, whatever obstacles u have, u gotta stick with what u want in life and DO NOT let anything detour that. Even if the situation is out of your hands. Like I said I wish u the best may b one day ill see your name amongst the giants.......

I was praying about what I was called to do in life yesterday. I said to God that if baseball was the thing to do in my life, that the first thing my pastor would say, in regards to a career, is baseball. My pastor said that parents should teach their children about the Bible and stuff like that. He later said that you might see your kid grow up to be a professional baseball player. That was the first career option he said. He could’ve said any other career, but he chose, God chose professional baseball player. I guess all I needed was a break from baseball to figure out that baseball is the path for me.
