How easy is it to turn the Force 10k with the Ezconnect setup? I have an old Force 10k I bought used (I think one of the very first models. Single speed with winch style controller). I used it on our 5k lbs trailer and it was VERY hard to turn it. I'm a 200 lb guy and I had to really push my weight into the handle to force a turn. Plus I really dislike the whole ball attachment process.....didn't fit as good as I would prefer. I'm thinking with the Ezconnect I could push the Force 10k around easier. I have some very tight turns to get my trailer parked.

It turns a LOT more easily as long as it's not being bound up by the trailer. I find that pushing the trailer for short stints makes it way easier to turn the whole unit. You don't have to move the trailer- just drive towards it and you'll find the sweet spot where the Force begins turning itself with some directional input.
I am not fond of the compression lock as I actually destroyed a stamped 14k coupler with it- the forces (specifically the sloppy rocking) from multiple moves actually deformed the coupler itself and caused the ball to slip out. I think it really only works for truly flat cast couplers without any steps requiring the puzzle... or featherweight trailers. The coupler shown in this video is actually the new one, which also has as weld bead run around the flange to help prevent bending. Not needed for the EZconnect, though, as it has a controlled load angle like any vehicle hitch.
