- During our stay in David Thompson Country to showcase the Baseline Mountain Biking Club, we spent a few days in the beautiful area & got the chance to spend some time near Cow Lake. We dubbed this the one-stop adventure shop as it seems like everyone stops here to get ready for outdoor adventures in the area. There's the Cow Lake Store & Resort which has almost any service/product required for your outdoor weekend with gas, propane, a general store & a cozy restaurant. On the resort side, they actually have 10 comfortable cabins, 5 of which can host up to four guests, 3 can accommodate up to six guests and the last two can easily host 8 to 10 guests comfortably. In this video, we showcase a little bit of the store as well as the entire cabin #9 which was extremely comfortable for our stay during this amazing weekend in June.
Just down the road, you will find the Cow Lake Campground where you can camp and enjoy a closer lookout of the scenic lake. This lake has multiple docks with a day use area designed for recreational boaters and fishermen alike. The day use area is perfect for family fun with a large beach along with a cooking shelter & multiple playgrounds. Watch our video of their 8th annual poker rally sponsored by David Thompson Country as we join the 100+ riders who spend the entire day trail riding for prizes. We showcase the amazing mountain views at the summit, the spectacular jumps visible along the open areas, various trails along the way & the vibrant spirit of the mountain biking community.

I may have to check this place out. looks awesome! did you record this in the off season? doesn't look very busy and there's no wildfire smoke.
@@ParadoxdesignsOrg I record all my content when it’s not busy, all my campground videos are prior opening or after the season is over. Some content was recorded last year, like all my lake OHara content from last month. I optimize the recording & the release dates now to make sense instead of just releasing videos whenever
How are you able to travel and hike so much? What's your income? Most places you go look lacking in people. Are most places quiet with few people. Is it expensive to stay at these cabins? What wild animals are often close to you in your adventures. How safe do you feel? Do you carry a weapon for protection? Thanks for sharing Canada
@@carmelahearle957 this is my full time job. I go to places when it’s not busy. Cabin prices vary widely. We’re always safe when we travel and do not need weapons in Canada.🇨🇦
