sir, thank you so much for explaining this concept with so much clarity. i watched so many videos on this topic on yt searching for why b was 0 outside the solenoid and you are the only one who explained it.
@@abhigyarangari2701 Leaving current and entering current will make B in every path of loop 0 so u r not able to calculate B with above explanation.Though imaginary rectangle loop concept is correct but explanation is bit wrong for path Q to P. Thankyou
Sir, While calculating B for Q to P path, you considered both parts of solenoid which is inside and outside rectangle,so B=0. But while calculating B for S to R,you considered only that part of solenoid which is inside rectangle. Why so?
Your question is eligible, but what happens is that magnetic field inside the solenoid is getting added up due to the current in upper and lower half where as , outside the solenoid the magnetic field gets nearly cancelled. Try figuring out the direction of magnetic field inside and then outside the solenoid, due to each half and then you will realise why we do not consider both the halves in path RS.
Sir I have a doubt. When we consider the entire solenoid will the magnetic field produced be zero due to entering and leaving currents.. If so how can we magnetize materials by placing it inside the solenoid?
Sir if the magnetic field at a point outside cancels due to opposing currents then why can't the current along the axis cancel out since each point contributes to magnetic loops
if sir could explain and demonstrate how the angle is 180 it would be great. Also, how can magnetic field become zero at line PQ because there is magnetic field going from one end to other end of the solenoid.
14:14 sir cos 180 is not equal to zero it's equal to -1 So according to your approach Net magnetic field is zero which is wrong By the value of current the B inside slolenoid have to be with capital N not small sir Why we take a loop in current carrying solenoid?
charu meow we can calculate the same mag field by other methods but since the topic is related to amp loop he did this calculation by drawing an amp loop
Considering the length of amperian loop PQ which is outside of the solenoid, the direction of current is from left to right at the top of solenoid loop whereas the magnetic field goes from right to left outside solenoid. So both I and B are opposite in direction thus making 180 angle with each other.
so waht if i assume the ampere's loop very close to the solenoid ? how can you prove that is 0. And i really don't think thats a good explanation for that.

Please make a video on the magnetic field at axial and equitorial point
When we take two loops far apart , why have you designed the magnetic field line like this?
divyansh bajaj no it's not far apart actually the direction of current is different but the magnitude is same so it will cancel each other

Sir Please give me information about generation of 1.2 Tesla magnetic field from solenoid
Why cos180
Someone tell
Considering the length of amperian loop PQ which is outside of the solenoid, the direction of current is from left to right at the top of solenoid loop whereas the magnetic field goes from right to left outside solenoid. So both I and B are opposite in direction thus making 180 angle with each other.
