I have a question, since this a very new video: I’m not super familiar with it, but I know there is a method to figure out the morse code step “properly” that Glitching Queen posted in January 2021 (yes, it took that long to figure out how to do). The question I have (since I’m not too familiar with this EE) is why don’t you use that strategy instead of (what appears to be) brute forcing it, like players have done most of the time? When players are doing the morse code step, how does it it work when you get part of it wrong? Does the Warden laugh AS SOON as you get an input of the morse code sequence wrong, or does it laugh at you after you enter in all 5 or 6 taps (or whatever it is)? If it is the latter, I suppose I can understand why people would brute force it. (Or does it work differently from that…??)
He laughs at each incorrect input, since we know how the morse code step works and the possible combinations, it’s much easier to brute force it than looking out at the water. It basically works as such, you will input 2 sequences of 5 inputs, each input being a dash or a dot. Every single sequence CANNOT flip flop between dashes and dots, for example, it cannot be dot dash dot OR dash dot dash. As soon as you hear the warden laugh, you swap to the other input, so let’s say you put 3 dots and he laughs on the 3rd one, you know the first 5 inputs are 2 dots then 3 dashes. The second sequence is the same and you just repeat from the beginning
