Ordered these awhile ago and the colours are just delicious! LOVE the palette. Took me awhile to unwrap them and have yet to swatch them out, but they look fabulous!!! Can hardly wait to see what you do with them ... and those metallics! Wow! Amazing!! Fun, fun, fun!!!
Thank you for sharing your informative review. The only issue I have with this brand is that there’s no information on the pigments used to create each color. The higher priced, artist quality water colors always provide this information and I find it very useful when I’m mixing colors so I don’t make mud.
I would have to agree their labeling and such isn't the best. But I guess it's a small 'price' to pay for the quality and the price point they sell it at...

Dang, I wish I had known they were switching to these individual half pans... The one I have is just the paints all set in place in one piece of plastic, which I found quite frustrating because it caused a lot of cross contamination so to speak of one color I go to use, seeping into and around colors around it. It ended up making me not use the palette 😣

Wow. They switched over to half pans from that awful flimsy plastic tray they used have. Really like the paint but always hated the tacky plastic tray. Big improvement.
I have that one and I hate it 😣 It made it so hard to use because I'd go to pick up a color with my brush but I had to be SUPER careful, otherwise that color would sort of seep on over to others around it. Ain't nobody got time to try to be all slow and dainty whilst using watercolor palette's... Not me at least lol. I'm seriously considering trying to cut it out, maybe just in one corner or side to try and see what's going on under that flimsy plastic piece... Then depending on the outcome, though time consuming, cut around each color and attempt to make individual "half pans"
@@4alicekg I actually got tired of the plastic tray and popped the paint out of the tray. They are held in with a bit of glue at the bottom. It took a little time and care but the paints came out okay. I shoved them into empty half pans and put them into a proper palette.

Does it include pigment info on the swatch card? Can the plastic tray come out? Are the paints shiny when dry? I’m very interested. Thanks for sharing
I have the 36 set but no pigment info, yes tray comes out, not shiny :)
Cadmium pronunciation is like Cad-ME-um. Just FYI. I always have trouble with the Quinachrodome (sp?) ones
