The main melody is dissonant at some parts, dissonance is like salt overusing it can cause the track to sound too harsh. I would recommend playing the chords and the melody together on their own, try and see if their notes can sound well together and listen to songs you like to understand how to distinguish harmonies. Good luck and keep experimenting.
can I ask what sound you're using for this in fl studio? like how do you get the 8-bit kind of sound and the drums like that I am a bit of a newbie regarding fl studio, so I would love to know about some of this stuff :)
for me its all about using soundfonts, you can download them and use them easily with the fruity soundfont player. i use the sgm soundfont for drums and its op for basically every instrument. For the synth is used an undertale soundfont and picked a square wave. i would also recommend 3x osc, nes vst, and magical8bitplug for 8 bit synths you could always throw a bit crusher on a song to make it sound more retro
this is really nice but the lead is really harsh
just want you ta know this is actually really good
I'm making music for about half a year, and i couldn't make anything like this so either I'm lazy or you're very good at making music:)

@@EvaLeo869 Thanks! I'll definitely use this info in making a new song
Feedback is welcome ;)
There's a little too much compression on the main mix
melody sounds very nice! but for a boss fight, the drums sound too happy, i'd recommend using some kind of synth drum plugin like dr-84
Will you eventually buy FLS?
gives me megalovania kind of vibe
