Being a owner of a Crossland from the first generation with bifuel system (LPG), for three years, I can say that, this is not the best car on the world, and yes only to people that need to go between A to B, but at least between that points you don't need to stop on a garage!
Mark you are spot with this car ! I had one on holiday in spain for 2 weeks ? It’s for people who just want to go to a to b with very little fuss !
Keep it up my friend, we must keep this car secret. Great value for money, and well specced (the Elite/Ultimate). Signed: ex-Cooper S and BMW 3 series driver. I saved loadsa money buying my Ultimate!

Rent this car before buying, i had it for a week and was glad to give it back. fuel tank spills over and still show not full and annoying lane departure warning (4.30 third button) is great on narrow Devon roads, it goes off all the time, switch it off and it turns itself back on. I also rented the Peugeot 2008 in Finland for 2 weeks and didnt have any of these issues.
Loved the handbrake turn joke - spat my coffee out!
By - very - far, the best car reviewer on UA-cam ( among the ones that speak english or greek at least - don't understand the others...).
By - not very - far, the worse fashion choices also.

I take it you're not watched anything by JayEmm on Cars, then... eclectic is certainly a word for it.
Look up the word 'Millennial' in the Oxford English Dictionary, and it just shows a photo of this guy.
Only halfway through this review and it has everything, it's interesting, informative and even a bit of metal music thrown in! I have been toying with getting either a Sandero Stepway, Jeep Renegede or one of these,. The Crossland appears more appealing at this time......

I hot this car yesterday, Edition version but two features mentioned are not included Mark:
- wireless Apple Car play, only via USB (which I couldnt get to share internet with the car when Bluetooth tethering shuts down)
- the rear bench is not movable, creating more space, this is only for the most expensive Ultimate model

Sensible facelift. Looks more like a Meriva now without the fancy design elements, easier to spot the replacement model for Vauxhall customers.

I'm sure it'll appeal to the usual long-time Vauxhall fans, but being on the old platform seems to compromise it a tad. Would it actually be worth getting over a C3 Aircross, which is supposed to be a more budget option if brand positioning is anything to go by?

I think your reviews are brilliant, ahem, usually. But you really have done a complete hatchet job on this one. Why no mention of the many people who have bought one and get along just fine with it. Don't be going all Clarkson era Top Gear, taking the piss out of everday ordinary people who need and can only afford good basic transport with reasonable comfort and relability. I'm buying one of these exactly for its ordinariness, oh and the fact that it's such a well equipped, safe and very "reasonably priced", car. Cheers Jeremy, sorry, Mark!
Hey mate. I do read your comments and always appreciate them. Thanks. But it does sound like you’ve fallen into that “man doesn’t like my car as much as me, therefore it’s a hatchet job” trap. In fairness I agree with you, most people will get along fine with it and it does everything okay, but IMO there are plenty of options at a similar size and price that do the same thing in a less boring way. Again, just my opinion. Hardly a hatchet job though.

I hired one of these for a week. I hated it before I left Enterprise car park. The worst car I have ever driven. Every gear is useless and the wrong gear for every situation.

This is a terrible car and I urge anyone to avoid it. What he said about the gearstick is an understatement. You don’t even feel it going into gear and the throw of the stick is huge. It’s an awful car

Your so anti Vauxhall it’s unbelievable! The 2008 has the same pedal placing,same engines etc yet you don’t mention them when you review them in the Peugeot.
The Crossland is on the PF1 platform (like the old 2008), the new 2008 is on the CMD platform like the Corsa is - Peugeot sorted the pedals out in the new platform!
"you're".....not "your" ("you're" being a contraction of 'you' and 'are').
I think the Peugeot looks nicer.
