Got a little behind on this edit. Filmed this around the 10th of January before the rain and snow hit here in the south but these bait still will work well in a lot of areas all the way through February so don’t sleep on these tips. Going to have the top baits for Feb out here hopefully soon.
So for these channel banks would you crank it first then throw the jig as clean up?

I’ve had some serious cold water success on a compact jig with a ned trailer. But I like the idea of trimming the flanges off your craw trailers. More accurate profile with less action

I already have a TON of Rapala crank baits but I am starting to hop on the crush City train a bit. Jacob I really really like your videos I also like fishing podcasts lately it seems like a lot of people in these podcasts are really in a way making you out to not be so great. I don't believe anything without proof I also don't agree with people trashing others. Could you please make video to set the record straight? Good or bad my opinion of you wouldn't change your still a hammer and always really informative. I love the baits of the month. They usually spot on for me I live about a mile from Susquehanna flats on upper Chesapeake Bay.

And for why bass sit on mud in the winter its simple they dont wanna chase down a shad unless they have too and ive seen largemough swim right through shad and past a bluegill to eat a crawdad out of a mudhole happens alot in rivers catfish do the same and id say the largies got it from mudcats simple easy eating and all u need is a light texas rigged creature bait drag and slow hop looks identical to a crawdad fleeing and smallies love em even more there like us id much rather have a blue crab over tuna or sushi #america

@WheelerFishing I know you’ve been looking for some bass jigs, I have a couple hand tied jigs that I’ve used for the last couple years on the open series that I’ve had a lot of success with if you’d like me to send you a couple to try out.
