- Why does Lana Del Rey not like Lady Gaga? Fans found out that Lana Del Rey hated Lady Gaga after one of Lana's songs leaked on the internet. In the song Lana says that Gaga looks like a man and talks like a baby. Lana dissing Gaga was shocking because they both used be good friends, they both lived in New York City in their early 20’s and tried to get record deals. They even sang at the same clubs and bars before they were famous. But Lana hates Gaga and it’s for a specific reason. Talent scouts noticed Gaga a lot sooner than Lana and Lana quickly became jealous of the attention Gaga got. Even though Lana eventually became successful, Gaga instantly was a star and Lana felt like she deserved it way more than her.

She relied on her father's influences to secure deals and didn't put in the same effort as many other artists who were trying to find their way while living for their art. She always had financial resources and support, which gave her more time to seek attention.
