I might demanding too high but if paying this pricing we should have higher demanding right. the mu2 DAC so good but no i2s and USB input as external DAC to use. the distortion is 0.0001% most of the lower price DAC give above 0.0006% but really can notice the difference? the distortion can be affected by the amp interconnect cable & the amp itself so distortion number on amp is more important i think. at this price range SNR 107db will be a bit low because many low cost DAC can get 120db and above. good to have headphone connection but the power too low to drive above 100 ohm headphone. may be IEM will get better sounding. last I can't found the frequency respond specs publish if only 20-20k mean it's for HI-RES and what file type it can be supported I mean 385k smapling PCM file support? and only dsd64 file supported, how about higher DSD arbitrate file can support?
Hmm, Grimm is known for clocking. I don’t even know if anyone knows how to reclock i2s as it’s 3 parallel cables, the longer it is, the more out of sync. AES has embedded clock in signal so it’s re-clockable. USB power line distortion is another can of worms.

題外話，雖然經過UA-cam，都分辨比平時用ATC出聲，少左ATC中頻厚暖聴感，國仁錄音效果👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

我選LP，串流其實已經不比cd差，方便性更加係贏九條彌敦道，要麻煩不如聽LP，獨特音色&儀式感取代唔到

賣知識產權，知識係最貴，1.5 bit, fpga 演算法

@@feverSoundHK mu2 的 pwm-dac 原型是tambaqui。mola的streamer不給力，所以需要mu1。升級是要配KS線，我就沒有試過，已經很滿意了。

CD - 因為玩黑膠又係返到由簡變繁，又要玩得好，後面一定又一大抽咩搞。這與玩Mu2提倡的簡約主義又可保持好音質的哲學不太一樣。

我完全明白，不過我對這部機太嚴苛，但又沒有對其他產品相同標準的話，又好像太偏頗。正如我片中所言，世上沒完美產品，我覺得現在挑了三項東西來談，也已經頗足夠了（國仁）
@feverSoundHK why i2s? when the longer the cable, the more degrade signal. mu2 has the shortest link between streamer and dac. just plug in LAN.

mu2的dac和前级 大概对应什么级数的独立dac和独立前级？
因為它是 all in one，所以其實很難一刀切去量化，否則答案就會變成「六萬元的串流 + 六萬元的解碼 + 六萬元的前級 - 機殼及供電等成本」，但事實卻不是這樣（國仁）

有，所以都要睇唔同使用情況，其實 USB 要好聲，也不是簡單一塊 XMOS 接收芯片就做得到，但我同意有好過無（國仁）
很多厂家声称的jitter rate都很低，但是实测就很高。比如MU1声称也是低过0.6ps，但根据Stereophile实测却接近300ps，即使是24bit source也接近200ps。只有实测10ps以下的DAC才能真正听出音乐感~

我諗佢係五、六萬左右嘅前級吧，未有咁誇張打贏十皮嘅機🙏🏻，但都已經好好了。一部全功能前級放大倍數應該要更大，以及輸入端子應該要更多的（國仁）
