Thanks! It actually wasn’t the original plan, it was an odd size so I had to end up buying two different CK kits and didn’t have the same colors available. But I ended up really liking it! K you ready for this? Haha the name of the torque wrench is Effetto Mariposa Giustaforza II 2-16 Pro Deluxe... I’ve wanted it forever, spendy but it’s badass!
@@JaimetheNomad I'm currently shopping for a torque wrench and just discovered this in one of the mtb articles yesterday. Then I watch this vid and was like "Hey there's that nice expensive torque wrench!"
Wow. I have dream that one day I will buy downhill bike ( mabye new trek with high pivot). Im 14 years old and what do you think, should i save up money for a good bike that i will buy when i grew up or buy used in a couple of years. Btw. Great video!!! Is it better to buy comlpete bike or build it yourself?
hey thanks! yeah those new treks with the high pivot look pretty sweet! There are pro's and cons to each scenario, it's fun to build yourself because you get to spec it out exactly how you want but it can be just as expensive as buying new. Buying used is definitely the most cost effective way, you can save quite a bit of money even buying a 1-2 year old model, and most of the time they are the same bikes but maybe a different color since most manufacturers don't really make changes on a year to year basis. If you have the money, build it yourself to your exact specs, color options, etc. If you want a great bike on a budget buy used and shred hard :)
ha, thanks! I'll be honest, I have a mix of Saint's or Hope's on my other bikes. Trying out the SRAM brakes but to be honest never used them before. Do you not like any SRAM brakes?
@@JaimetheNomad i had one on my custom canyon strive But i directly changed to the saints and i love them, and on my session i have magura mt7, but im not completly satisfied with them
@@iknow9367 good to know. I have Saints on my previous dh bike and my trail bike, I actually love the feel and the power of them. My pair on the previous DH bike was a pain to get a consistent feel though after multiple bleeds. But loved them when they were consistent. my saints on the trail bike have been great though.
This is one of the best DH MTB.....
Thank you! Truly appreciated 🤙🙏
Sick build and video! Love the quality tools and attention to detail.
Thanks so much! Definitely my most fun build to date.
Wish I can still buy non high pivot Trek Session in the future like thats my childhood dream bike. Nice build and the parts selection was so good
Yeah you’d have to find a used one or something, which is possible so that’s good! And thank you!! 🙏
What a beautiful bike… congratulations my man!!
I offer my respect against your effort🙌
Hey thanks! 🤙 I really appreciate that! 🙏
Cant go wrong with a trek!
Sure can’t! And now that I’ve had some solid seat time on this all my initial worries about a 29er DH bike are gone, this thing is a super fun beast!
Nice build man! Great choice in Components.
Thanks Eric! I’m having a blast with it 💪
Great color combo for CK headset. What company makes that red torque wrench you used for the stem bolts?

@@corismsyn haha, it was meant to be :) It's an amazing torque wrench, and just feels good in your hands too being a metal construction.
Sick 🔥
Thanks !!
Awesome color coded Allen keys who makes those?
They’re actually not color coded per se. the blue are allen heads and the green are torx, both kits are from Park Tool.
