CORVO ISLAND AZORES: What do you want to see?
Corvo Island in the Azores is the most remote island in Portugal and one of the most isolated places in Europe. To get there you can take a plane or go by boat from Ilha das Flores. There are two types of boats: public and private, which also make different trips. I advise you to choose the last one, this way, you can visit the caves of the island of flowers.
On the day of our trip, the sea was quite rough, so we ended up arriving all wet, but that wasn't what prevented us from continuing to explore. As soon as we arrived, we set up our tent at the campsite, which was completely free, and headed towards the cauldron. The views from the cauldron are simply surreal. And for us, the experience couldn't be complete if we didn't take the pedestrian route around the cauldron. If you only have a few hours on Crow Island, don't be intimidated by the lack of time. Go down a little, and even if you don't make the trail completely, you can always be part of it. It's a breathtaking setting.
After this trail, you can also do the other one: the footpath of the face of the Indian. To end the day well, there's nothing like eating the beautiful limpets.
