- A colander and strainer are perfect for applying multiple drops of color quickly and easily and can be used to form a stone like appearance in soap. I made this soap this morning and am uploading the video of the final soap tonight. That’s how easy and fast it is to make!

Music :”Motivational Epic” By Nuclearmetal found here: audiojungle.net/item/motivati...
The Logo Sound was custom made by sound engineer and original composer Vadym of Nuclearmetal-Thank you!
Vadym is one of the best modern composers in the world (in my opinion) and resides in Lviv, the cultural capital of Ukraine. Lviv was the center of the historical region of Galicia and is now the home of many world-class cultural institutions, including a philharmonic orchestra and the famous Lviv Theatre of Opera and Ballet. The city is known as a center of art, literature, music and theatre and is where festivals and concerts are being held every week.
Nuclearmetal keeps adding more and more REALLY wonderful songs here: audiojungle.net/user/nuclearm...

Great looking soap!! And fantastic idea with the colander!
Thank you, Judy💝It is cool to be able to make some that looks like your counter tops! I was really surprised when I searched for the colander or strainer pour for soap that I couldn't find anything. It seems like such an obvious idea lol.😄

Creative genius. Truly amazing. And yes the music is awesome 👏. My kitchen would be a total wreck 😂
Thanks for sharing this beautiful technique I enjoy the process and the music
You are very welcome.💝 I am so glad you liked the video🤗
another amazing work of art. When my son passed away last year, i really wanted to create a soap for him. I was thinking cosmic or something like granite stone would be fitting, to honour his strength and his passing.. You have helped me so much. your soaps are gifts of inspiration for me. Thank you for sharingxx
Oh Alice. I know you miss him so much. What a wonderful idea to make a granite memorial soap! It would be great with a wreath swirl to finish it maybe-or a laurel victor's wreath. If you would like to send me his first name, I will try to make a memorial soap/video in his honor. My email is fromgracetoyou.llc@gmail.com
Alice, I'm so very sorry for your loss... as has been our experience, the heartbreak of losing a child is indescribable... indeed, my heart aches for and prayers are with every parent who's loss has been as such... in our home, Heaven is our hope... but, oh... my dearest Grace... that you would choose to honor someone's son whom you'd come to know only because of your wonderfully inspiring video is very, very touching and, for me, represents just another manifestation of your kind, tender, loving, generous, compassionate, selfless, gracious being.. You never cease to amaze! I love this demonstration of your creativity however, the greater blessing has been the transparency of your heart... I appreciate you so very, very much... You, my friend, have my heart! ❤, k
Dear Katherine, you are very tenderhearted and sweet to say such things. Thank you for expressing your sympathy and love.💗 🕊💗
Katherine Ahrens
Thank you for your kind words. Yes everything you say about Grace is how i feel, I was very moved by her gesture and can't wait to see the video. xx
You are a creative genius and blessed with a awesome talent. And yes the music is beautiful. My kitchen would be a total wreck 😂
Thank you, Sylvia, you are too kind. 💝 I am so glad you like the soap and music!! Oh my kitchen is a big mess when I am finished, but I have gotten very fast at cleaning it up after every soap. I know just where everything goes lol😂
That looks SOOO cool!
Thank you SOOO much😄
You are one of my new favorite soapers!!! I going to make some soap dough this week or next and get started on my first soap painting thanks to you! I'll give you a shout out!
LOL! I am so happy to hear that! I really look forward to seeing your work! Please send me a link when it is ready!
Missed you Grace! Great 👍🏼 technique. I will try this❤️
Lol thank you💝 I would love to know how it turns out!
WOW this is awesome
Thank you for your comment and welcome janine butters💝 I am so glad you like this soap. It is really easy to do🤗
You make everything look so easy and your colours are amazing' l think if I tried this would be a disaster lol well done looks so realistic...
It is true that the soap must be liquid enough, but other than that I don't think anything could go wrong:)
Amazing 🤗I want to try this technique at some point.
Cool!! I would love to know how it turns out! Thanks so much for your feedback💝
Very Cool! Jenny, I always listen to the music, it's part of soap making and creating. I will try this technic Grace, thank you so much for sharing and inspiring. Also, for the brief history on Lviv, Ukraine. I'm sure the country is very beautiful.
Thank you so much for your fantastic feedback and comments, Lori Marie💝
Very cool! I will have to try this, this weekend! Thank you for the tutorial!
Thank you, Katherine💝 I would love to hear how it turns out! By the way when I do it next time, I will start by using the colander right at the beginning and not bother pouring a layer of color first.
I will Grace! I've only made three batches of soap, but I love it, it is so much fun! I can't wait to try this!
Well the key to this is to keep a liquid batter while pouring. So just to be safe, I don't add any fragrance to the accent colors, just to the main body soap-and that only right before pouring. I hope it goes well!
thank you :)
I was born in the city that produce a lot of granite :) lol! Awesome! You did it well as always! Thanks for sharing! Love it!
That is very interesting! Did it have waterfalls too? I know it had at least one:)) Thank you for your comment, Vadym😄
No waterfalls at all in this region :D
:DDD
So cool Grace! Love the method and how the soap turned out! I love the music and expertly done video also ;)
😄I love the new technique too! It produces unique looking soap and is so easy. Thank you so much for your feedback on the video and the music, Terri💝 I know Vadym will be happy to hear your feedback on his song🎼🎹🎺
Thank you, Terri :) Nice to hear that you like my music and Grace made really excellent video with it :)
Vadym , you are very welcome! I do have to add that one of the most beautiful compositions I have ever heard is "Emotional Valentine". It is on Grace's "Making of the Storm" video. Everyone should hear this one!! It is absolute genius!
Thank you Terri for your kind of words!!!!!
I agree with you about "Emotional Valentine" Terri. It is so beautiful!! I also really think Vadym is a genius.
With that technique you could do a galaxy soap!
Hey you are right!! It could be used to make a star field background. Then, I wonder what would happen if you did a spiral swirl here and there...Then maybe use a squeeze bottle to make planets. Thank you for your great idea Andreane Rousseau!!💝
😍😍😍😍😍
Freaking Awesome!!
Can I do this in a loaf mold?
Hi yes you can. I would just cut the bars from the top down-sort of like I do for these bars: ua-cam.com/video/vc8rdcOC2bI/v-deo.html
This is outstanding. My third attempt will be tomorrow. The first one looked like vomit and the second looked like creamed corn with mold. :P I was wondering, do you put the TBSP of Jojoba at trace or mix with the other oils? I wouldn't know how to enter a TBSP in SoapCalc. Thank you and congratulations on all your fabulous soaps. I see you have lots of envious followers. I'm joining them!
Hi and welcome Laura💝😃 I sometimes put it in after trace (or in some cases emulsion-where I just mix it enough to keep the oils from separating from the lye water) but lately I have been mixing it with the fragrance or essential oils which I always add just before I pour. In both cases, I add it after mixing the oils and lye. Does that make sense?lol
Yes! I'm learning all the soap lingo. LOL. I'm going to try adding it to the fragrance. I notice you soap pretty warm (I soap around 90), but since you only mix to emulsion, it looks like you don't have an issue with the batter thickening. Thank you for your quick reply!
You are welcome! I am working on my next video so I am at my computer lol. I soap at higher temps because of my recipe. I find that my butters get too thick at lower temperatures. The key to liquid batters is how much I mix the batter which you will see if you watch enough of my videos :D
This is becoming a habit. Hubby just asked if I’m watching your videos again? 😲🤭🤔🥰
Lol don't tell me-he heard the music....😁
@@FromGracetoYou I muted it earlier, and he said "what are you watching"?, i said"nothing" he said your watching that soap lady aren't you? He knows me so well lolol
Lol! That is so funny! It really does sound like he knows you VERY well!!!
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻
😀😃😄😘
Holy cow lady who but you would dream of using a colander to make soap. You’re a soap savant. Now I’m not making fun but you could make the ever popular unicorn soap that I’m sick to death of but give it a kick in the pants with the colander. 😉. Your e the bomb lady.
Lol, thank you, M.C.Davis💝 I can see the Galloping Galaxy of the Unicorn Universe now...😄
Is that gold mica powder you are throwing into the colander or is it liquid. You are moving so fast that I can't make it out
Hi-the colors are shown at 1:15-1:19. They are all liquid. I always mix my colors with soap. If you watch the first time I show the pour (which is fast I know) I tell you the colors I add as I go. If you watch the second time-it is slower. Plus, if you click on that little gear icon at the bottom of the video (where it says HD) you can select the speed you would like to view the video. You can watch it a slower rate by clicking .25, .5 or .75 I hope that helps!
The music is so obnoxious...
Lol I really appreciate your feedback on the music. It helps me to select future music that my audience will like. When I come across videos where I don't like the music, I turn off the sound. You can always do that with my videos when you don't like the music because I don't talk in any of them, but communicate with text in the video. Thank you for your helpful comment, HL Watts💝🤗
Beautiful!
Thank you for your feedback💝
