Great spotting! I was there that day when LFT & LFW came in, glad you got some Originair action, and ZK-FIS, that's an awesome, fast Piper, faster then the ATR's & Dash 8's
Thank you very much!, yeah I saw the first life flight on radar coming in and then there turned out to be a second one along with the flying doctor from chc!, and yeah the piper was quite fast, I think it is owned by airways nz
Great stuff. An enjoyable watch. A family member is also moving to Nelson and was contemplating living on Point Road, Monaco near the Southern end of the runway so now has a clear picture of what to expect.
@@HDChristchurchaviation We lived in Monaco in the 1970's when Bristol Freighters and Friendships dominated the Nelson skies. Fond memories. We've returned to Nelson after 40 years and now live on Princes Drive overlooking Tahunanui so we have a perfect view of Dash 8's coming and going at Nelson. I've only just realized I've likely become a plane spotter :) I've filmed dozens of them but nothing that comes close to the quality of your 28 minutes which I found fascinating.
@@johnwilldo64 wow, that's amazing! Planspotting is the best hobby in my opinion (can be expensive with camera gear though) and I'm glad you enjoy my videos! All I'm doing is sharing my passion with others like you on the internet!
That was cool that I saw the all black dash 8
