These are great journals and a wonderful idea to store your favorite papers and cards. I will be using this project for my own stash of travel papers and postcards.
These are super cute. You did a great job. I love the idea of a glue book to save all those images that you don't otherwise have a place to put them. Well done.
Hey Michelle, You made me so happy to see you posted a video of your work!!! You have been very busy and they are so fun. My son must be related to your husband, lol. My hoarding doesn't bother my hubby, but it does the son. :) Thanks for sharing!
Im going to do exactly what you have done here. I have way to much of not much but heaps & this is a great idea to get it sorted & out into the world & in someone elses hands. 👍
Oh Michelle...I am in Hastings but have two of our daughters living in Wellington...as well as a grandson in his third year at university. I understand the hoarding of stuff. We live in a small 75 square metre granny flat which is well insulated with all my stuff...patchwork, spinning, knitting and making of journals! Maybe if I made loads more books my stash would diminish except that op shops have this vortex thing happening and more books find their way home!
Beautiful! Every single one! I just love all the interesting papers pages and images!! I wish I could get journals done that quick!! Thanks for sharing and inspiring!!
Brilliant!! Love these journals... I was cleaning up my space yesterday and was just so stuck with that I should do with all the scrap book paper.. I think I will try and create myself a glue book/junk journal..Thank you always for the lovely videos!
I would absolutely love it if you did more tutorials for those of us a little challenged in that area. How to do different signatures, binding etc. Love your work 😊
Wonderful junk journals … so fun to see and gets me thinking about doing the same with my stash of “ oh I have to keep that “ . Great to see a video from you, stay cool and till next time … ❤️❤️
These books are AWESOME! I have a ton of the packing paper that I will be distressing and using for base pages. It's kinda like glassine as far as the crinkling sound and feel...I will also be making paper bags/pockets from the packing papers...I even have some olive green color packing paper....LOL...
Love love love the journals and Im working my way through my boxes of saved images and like you just sticking them down in no orders and then later will doodle on them.
Woohoo...good luck! I have been making this type of journal for what seems like ages...even though I am not nearly as prolific as you are, (your energy amazes me!), but I find the "scraps" simply don't lessen! in fact, I think they multiply when I'm not looking! Thanks for showing us your lovely journals, now I have to get back to it! Dx
You’ve done well cleaning up Michelle! Doesn’t it make you feel good? :) as always I love your journals, these are super fun and will for sure inspire their new owners to have fun and cut, play, doodle, write, paint etc.. love them! Thanks for sharing and I’m already looking forward to your next video :) hugs- Wenche
