Awesome lesson, Steve. You are the only one teaching this song who taught that we are supposed to play the flat 5 on the first part of the fast passage. Nicely done.

Yo my dude Steve! Thanks for always being true. Dragonaut was the first Sleep song I learned "a riff" from. At the time(2000-2003) I was a HUGE Deftones fan and a bunch of their Riffs had the same vibe as the verse of Dragonaut just a bit faster. So It was something I learned, but it was just that little verse riff. To be honest I would credit Stephen Carpenter as the sole Guitarist who got me into this sound and tone of Guitar. It wasn't until years later, after diving deep into all the "Retro Synth" styles of music I started to crave the crushing sounds of loud distorted Guitars again. Discovered a band called Kylesa and that's when I learned of that scene. God I really need to get a Laney, things sound amazing!!! But my Orange CR20 does great right now, I see you use the same on some videos... BTW first Sleep song was The Druid!!!
Doom Brownies Awesome! I’ve used that Crush20 on nearly every lesson up to this point; they are great practice amps and the CabSim built into the headphone output is a really great feature.
@@DoesItDoom I know, its definitely an essential part of my budget doom rig with a Epiphone Less Paul Special with p90s running into it with some budget dirt pedals
Hey dude, idk if you have done a video on them but, have you done a review on witchsorrow? Would love to see one
I will generally teach anything that gets enough requests. Thanks for watching!
my first riff by sleep was dopesmoker
