I usually change ice wing designs around a bit to make them much for recognisable. My design for Arctic is blue (not pastel) on the underbelly, spikes, wing webbing and head armour thingie. Then in all the other spots white.
Ahahaha, i’m working hard this week on making the plushies for the next video, each plushie takes me 3-4 days and i post a highlight reel of making them on my instagram before the UA-cam video! (Because it takes so long to edit UA-cam videos lol)

Loving this series so far! As a plush maker myself, I would suggest pinning against the pattern rather than with it, this way you can (carefully) sew over the top of them and don’t have to keep stopping to remove pins! This also allows for pinning curves with more flexibility. Keep up the great work, I can’t wait for the next installment!🥰
Definitely agree on all the Arctic points. I read darkstalker recently as I'm sort of a newer wof reader. He may have been cold, but he still had a lukewarm heart. Unlike Darkstalker, he still truly cared about his soul and about Foeslayer. Along with being kind to Clearsight when she was around. The arctic purse was a good choice! 3:25 A trick I learned from another plush maker, "Choly Knight" (aka "Sew Desu Ne") is wrapping wire in some softer fabric first before putting it into the wings. She explains it better in her pattern tutorials than I can in a youtube comment, but if you wanted posable wings that were a little less pokey then that might be a good solution.
I imagine a darkstalker plushie to just be the size of a small yoga ball (because of darkness of dragons) if you want to make I’m normal sized that’s okay too! What a clever idea for an Arctic plushie

I use a singer heavy duty sewing machine, but for the first year of my sewing experience I used one that i got for free out of a dumpster. And honestly, any sewing machine that retails for under $500 is kind of trash lol, bit it doesn’t matter if that’s all you have. It just makes doing small parts on the machine super hard as well as some other tricks. If you can find one second hand that is in a higher price range on shelves that could be the best of both worlds!
