I love how the old Wario game boy games didn’t degrade themselves by having him rely on farting as an attack. Wario had his special hats in the first game and got his special abilities from his enemies in this one! And he just used his raw strength and brute force to get through in both. Also its too bad that this wasn’t Wario’s normal color palette. Yellow and black suits him much better than purple overalls and green shoes.
Tbh I was never a fan of Nintendo focusing on farts and stuff. Seemed to become a thing more around Smash Brawl, even more so than Wario Ware. Wario was a bit of a bad ass in the Land series, now he’s a bit of a loser

Wario Land 2 is the game that made me into the Wario fanboy I am today. It was just so *unique* for the time, and really felt more like a puzzle adventure game than a Mario obstacle platformer. Really fleshed out Wario and gave him a personality. And I was also sold because the path that is just "don't press anything and Wario sleeps through everything" is hilarious

Sheesh I forgot how unique and open Wario land 2 was. The alternative paths and unique endings make this pretty awesome to begin with. And ya ever noticed how Wario Land 2 feels like a Shantae game? Maybe I'm just dumb I feel like there's a lot of similarities. Also For some reason I kinda wish they took some notes from this game when making New super Mario bros 2. Would be nice to have an incentive to gather coins meanwhile Wario already had that.
This video has convinced me to check out Wario Land 2 sometime. I'm not sure when I'll get to it with my backlog of games I want to play or replay, but this game looks really cool. One of my favourite games of all time. I always used to muck around and see what you could do with games. And the first level where you don’t wake wario I just tried, expecting nothing but to actually see a new story line take place blew my mind. Great game.

It's sunken underground and the story of the barudo kingdom that the pyramid takes place at seems to fit in. What I can't understand is why Terrormisu's human form is tiramisu, which actually resembles the princess of the game: "for the frog the bell tolls" and also features the old man with the brain tumor from Wario land 4, who is also the same one who throws the invisibility potions at you from Wario land 3. I am Confused!
16:04 I was hoping you would cover this stage. It's a shame the "final boss" is the Giant Spearman from the previous missions. If they hadn't pulled any punches, the final boss probably would've been some ungodly monstrosity instead.
It makes perfect sense though. Giant Spearman has been the recurring miniboss for the entire post-game, so of course he'd come back one more time here.

A neat theory about the giant tap that i've seen is this: Wario doesn't want to take a bath. Ever. So he bought a giant water tap, so that way it's impossible for him to ever take a bath because his water tap's too big.
