1998 Way Huge Super-Puss | Episode 6: Full Tone Demo of Just the Super-Puss

Tone demo of just the Super-Puss (my interpretation of the circuit inside, not the actual Super-Puss). The gutshot pictures of a real Super-Puss have been lost to internet history and the details are kinda light. I used my experience with reverse engineering a few of Jeorge Tripp's pedals to take an educated guess on the circuit and modifications. Next up is a comparison video between the Super-Puss and the 1997 & 1998 Way Huge Aqua-Puss!

I'm really loving this series. I'm down the analog delay rabbit hole as well - I'd love to see an actual comparison of an original mn3005 or mn3205 with the xvive or cool audio modern versions. I never thought I'd have G.A.S for an oscilloscope. Thanks for doing this for us fellow geeks

Hi Murf!!!! Thank you for your super kind words!! That's a great idea for comparison! I think I have an idea for that... Hehe. The scope was something I was putting off for a while but now I use it quite a bit!

I tried following along, but after the whole scope procedure I found the output of the delay to be too distorted. Then I just did it by ear, sending a plucky sound into the thing, and I was done in under a minute, and it sounds great now. So to anyone wanting to attempt calibrating the MBP TR PCB with a scope - don't bother and just use your ears.
