I have this statue. I preordered from PCS before fulfillment was taken over by Sideshow. While I love it, it could have been better given the price & delays. I have mine holding the Sword of Darkness. For the shield misalignment, I contacted PCS/sideshow and they offered to send me a replacement or a $100 credit. I took the credit and used a tiny bit of blue tack behind the shield to align it properly. Looks great now.
My bro did the same, he almost lost his order somehow though between the transition, was a nightmare I know that.
As someone who doesn't really buy tons of licensed products, more so 3rd party stuff, I wasn't as impressed as I imaged overall. Still a very impressive piece to see in person and hold a 1/4 scale statue.
Thanks for the advice on the shield, I'll mention i to him and see if he can get some credit as well on it. Thankfully from the angle you display him the gap does seem to disappear.

For the price, the gap in the shield is a no go.... looks cool but my OCD would drive me nuts lol.
Yea if that's the case RUNNN AWWAAYYYYY!! Like I showcased it disappears at certain angles but it was most certainly a massive design flaw.
My only guess for how something like this passed the design phase is that they did it intentionally to avoid the risk of damage when you're swapping out parts.
Otaking Mikohani Definitely agree with you, seemed like an intention engineered decision. Though it’s not how their prototype was shown so poor in them for not communicating that.
I'd have to agree, the pose with the sword of darkness is the best. I think it's because you can't have the evil green ranger without the sword of darkness, they go hand in hand.

Green Ranger has always been a fan favorite of the Power Rangers fanbase, the fact the Dragonzord is pretty much a tribute to Godzilla/Mecha Godzilla it was a nice touch for Kaiju fans as well. Personally I would love to have the statue but 1)It's limited..thus expensive and 2)It's HUGE..I have no real place to put it.
Love how much of a tribute it is to the Kaiju legacy as well! I'm a huge statue collector but my brother is more into figures. I will say this is his once and done statues, his holy grail, most definitely for him it was way more than he ever wanted to spend but this was his "one and only" that he will be able enjoy for many many years.
@@BAMCollectibles Personally I still have my mint in box Dragonzord from waaay back in the day..I had to sell my Megazord for some spare cash when I was down but I still got my Dragonzord with the Green Ranger figure in the box..I really hope I never need the cash bad enough to sell it..it still has the tape from the 90's keeping it shut lol.

I was a pretty big PR fan way back in the day, and my mom worked for a local newspaper delivery that had a midnight run..she would go to Toys R' Us RIGHT as they opened to check the newest stock of PR stuff before anyone else got shots at them..that's how I got Dragonzord and quite a few other PR toys since this was back in the day when PR was at it's peak craze..when a local KMart/Walmart (can't remember exactly) had it's day 1 opening..there was a HOARD of parents and kids..it was a literal mad dash to the toy section to get first pick of the PR stock..like..my grandma and I nearly got trampled in the mad dash cause we were in on it too. It's crazy to think how popular PR used to be when it first came out.

We were blessed that my mom was one of the crazy people that loved her kids enough to wade through all the hype and busy Christmas traffic to be sure her boys got the toys they wanted. Funny to think how things have evolved and changed so much since kiddos. Good times for sure haha

I think the texture of the suit looks amazing but for other reasons - i don't think it makes it look like "armor rather than the shows spandex" that texture looks identical to what the show's 3 stretch lycra costumes look like up close.

Beautiful sculpt and concept. You would think they would have thought it through a little better though, the scale of the Green Ranger in comparison to the Dragon Zord's tail is ridiculously inaccurate regardless of if you're going for normal size Green Ranger or giant sized. They could have consolidated the tail to maybe 3 gigantic segments to make it at least slightly more believable. The Green Ranger as a standalone piece looks pretty incredible regardless.
Definitely far from on scale but I’ll be honest and say I’m glad it’s not to scale because it would be so dang huge haha! If I had my dream come true it would actually have been him on top of a partial head of the Dragon Zord while on the flute playing pose.

I have the $100 Saba, as well as the Silver Special Edition MMPR Morpher and White Tiger coin. Tommy as the White Tiger is my favorite, whereas Tommy as the Green Ranger is my brother's, who has the Green Ranger Dagger and Dragon coin with the Gold Special Edition MMPR Morpher. I also recently bought the Tommy's White Tiger Legacy Collection action figure the moment it was taken out of the shipping box at the store; lucky me.

Well on the first topic, we actually live in different states and aren't close either. We use the channel as a way to stay connected and have fun putting out content. Your video popped up in the suggested videos, probably because we do a lot of Power Ranger content too. Just dropped a video about the Power Rangers / Ninja Turtles crossover comic books.

BAM Collectibles BAM Collectibles at comic con San Diego he was getting ready to go to another both but was taking his sweet time I asked him if he could sign my figure he was like sorry I don’t really sign toys but he signs the vinyl POPs cool I asked him for a selfie he kept ignoring me as he walked off I said ey I thought you took care of your fans and I’m not gonna lie there was a lot of people around us and he turned around and was like alright don’t pull that give me your phone and took the pic of both of us but it didn’t come out good you can tell in the picture that I was like literally not cool with his actions from that point on I just don’t care to really buy anything that has to do with the white or green ranger Walter was extremely nice David was okay but I have to put Walter on my number 1 favorite meet and greets because he didn’t even charge me when he signed my figure he also complimented my name when he asked me what my name was I said frank Angel and he was that sounds good are you an entertainer I was like not as big as you lol but yeah that’s how it went.
So sorry to hear that man.....I imagine that kind of life style comes with its ups and downs of being able to please everyone and sometimes it just not working out that day. Guess you never know what's going on inside of their minds at that moment. Dude could of had to take a massive poop and you were in the way of that LOL! Just so hard to tell sometimes but so sorry that did not work out as you imagined.

I will never say that I'm proud of it but the American version (which is NOWHERE NEAR as good as Japan's) was what I grew up with and impacted me the most.

Looks big on that tail, supposed to be a lot smaller than the tail.
While very true, there's no way I'd want the tail to be scale is it would be TOOOO HUGE to display. One of the most precious resources as a collector is space.

My excuse for the wack dagger paint is that if you took the real dragon dagger and swung it at other rangers and-or puddies over thousands of time like the green ranger did, the paint would be all over the place too.

7:50 while talking about an immaculate paint job, there's a major flaw near the chin: is that paint or top coat that dried in a runny state? It's not a reflection as it doesn't warp while the helmet is being rotated...
Never said it was perfect haha! But overall they did a very good job at it. Only part they severely screwed up was the dang daggers. Almost borderline unacceptable.
for the amount this piece cost at $1000 the chest shield having the gap not connecting to the diamond center i would be pissed no matter how they want to spin the reason why that unexpectable and the suit doesnt look like armor it looks like fabric armor doesnt have wrinkles lol...all that though its an amazing sculpt
the gaps in the armor are a bit disappointing, but otherwise it looks great. I'm really bummed that I couldnt swing this :(
He's a beaut for sure! If I were you maybe keep a keen eye out on eBay or Facebook marketplace weekly and maybe one day someone will be desperate to sell for cheaper and you can grab it.
My friend had to pass on a $1300 statue only for someone to list it for $500 local to him and he got his dream piece. Anything can happen and I seriously wish you all the best and luck in pursuing it. Cheers mate!

Hey man! Dragon Dagger was purchased MANY years ago at a Toys R Us when they were still around locally. As for the shirts we picked them up during this past summer at a Gamestop (^_^)

Statue is good in the wrong except that the Dragonzord tail should be a lot bigger compared to the Ranger. The size of the tail looks as though the Dragonzord itself is almost the same size as the Power Ranger or at least it looks like the Green Ranger could wear the Dragonzord as a tech suit like Iron Man that tail just isn't big enough
First off I 100% agree with you on all aspects! Sometimes with statues they need to take that creative liberty and adjust things to make it realistic for people to display.
Thankfully the green ranger was a true quarter scale statue size wise but I am happy the tail was the size that it was so you could at least get that without needing a massive display. If I had my dream statue of him it would be for him to be standing on the top of the Dragon Zord head playing the dagger flute
