Bhai, just one correction. When you select 80 it is not 80 percent saving, but rather 80 percent consumption. 40 percent would mean only 40 percent consumption and 60 percent saving. You can check user manual too.

Are u using door draft stoppper too?, because the ac is right now working (i think) more efficiently then its designed for, that means the room is really air tight, so i wanted to ask if u are using door draft stopper to make room airtight

I have bougt a 1.2 Ton Carrier 5 star inverter AC, my room size is WLH 13 ×11 × 12 and it is in top fllor with direct sunlight.
When i turn on my ac at 24℃ (32℃ ambient), after 1 hour the temp is decreasing by 6 ℃ . Is it ok ?? Or it should be more cool ?

Show me units running AC entire night at 22 degree and 24 degree..... Run AC at 100% mode and not power saving mode. Also show how much units and time taken to cool room during afternoon.

A to Z entertainment I think it’ll not cool fast and perfectly... 1.5 ton is good for rooms up to 13x14... get 2 ton instead and it’ll cool faster and save some energy...(as smaller ac will run at 100% always)
My AC also matching with his test during normal season .. But on summer time it shoots to 3.5/4/5 depending on outside hot and humidity for 10 hrs of night operation

Above values is only for general answer. It not accurate. Consumption may vary based on wattage, and usage.
If your AC runs for 8 hours then it doesn't mean that AC compressor runs for 8 hours. It runs when your room temperature and temperature you set in AC is not same. AC only maintain room temperature.
If the room is cool then the power consumption will automatically reduce since the system will automatically cut off the compressor.
So now you can see that the power consumption for 1 hour will be equal to 1 kWh which is 1 Unit.
Note: 1 Ton doesn't mean 1 unit.
It is defined as the rate of heat transfer that results in the freezing or melting of 1 short Ton (907 kg) of pure ice at 0 °C in 24 hours.
A refrigeration ton is approximately equivalent to 12,000 btu/h or 3.5 kw

Hello sir I have voltas 2 ton 2 star AC 242LZH, I run it for 3 hours in wich 1 hour on 24 degree and 2 hours on 27 degree My meter consumption unit is 7, Is it normal or there is any problem.
It is normal for a 2 star unit.
IMO ideal setup is running the AC on 22 for first 30 mins and 24 for next couple of hours then 25-26 not more than that, but informative video thanks
