TRUTH!! Jesus Christ, the Word of God, said in John 8:44 KJV - “Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.”
I was in a domestic violence situation for 16 years. I believed that lie. By the grace of God he saved my life. I now help other women see the truth and find healing.
Thank God you’ve moved on and are healing. I’m just getting out of one and he kidnapped our daughters and won’t let me see them so I’m waiting to go to court. I have always wanted to go to law school so now I’m going back and will be working in family law so I can help other moms through abusive marriages and possibly get the laws about parental abduction changed. I felt I had become complacent at my place of work and was asking if I had done the right thing. This was a right word and also right on time.
