You're the best SRV player man ! You're tone is in your hands and in your heart.
Agreed! it's like he took on his spirit!
This guy has got srv down
I couldn’t agree more! He sounds the closest to Stevie of anyone I’ve ever heard.
Agreed
Honestly can't understand why people hate on your videos/talking throughout. Great stuff!
People hate him because they can't play like Katona 🤣🤣
yeah..well I can take a $ 3,500 guitar or a $ 35 guitar and make them both sound like a $ 20 guitar.try that.
I happen to have a 20$ guitar I built that sounds better than the 59 Les paul I sold in 1984.
@@donrutter6550 then you woke up?
I can subtract $10 from that skillset for you for studio sessions.
That cup of coffee is strategically placed there for tone. Lol
amazing. You are probably the one who catches the srv tone better that everyone on UA-cam
I love how he has a SRV pickguard framed and a Soul to Soul Album behind the amp
Wow, now THAT is the SRV sound! Great tone, amazing playing, keep up the great work!
Tommy Nailed "Life Without You"
Fantastic *-*
Life without you and Lenny :0 Spot on My dude. Tone, Voicing, Picking Attack everything.. great.
Dimples would be nice to hear, please. My husband passed from cancer and this was our song since I have cheek dimples and he introduced me to SRV using this song. Oct 5th
The Amp and the Ax are a perfect match for each other, very nice playing also. Thanks for the review.
that's really spot on pure SRV tone! great
That sound is amazing. Sounds so close to Stevie. Amazing!
I had a chance to play one of those in Dallas at the International Guitar Show back in April, man, those guitars are awesome. The neck felt great. Very cool. Sounded wonderful.Great demo Tommy!
You’ve certainly captured Stevie’s special touch!
Sounds spot on... I am amazed.
Super cool, man. Really diggin on your videos. I pick up allot of the pieces of songs too!
That's definitely got a bad ass tone, well done !!
Yo' Tommy, it was great hanging with you at the SRV ride in 2010! Sick review and demo, superb tone! What a stellar amp and Axe; )-
Beautiful set up, I'm jealous.
thank you for posting
What a blast it must be to have the right tools to get Stevie's sound. Not to take away from your own obviously talented abilities but? That has GOT to make playing his style SO much easier! You're a lucky man their bro! Dam! where can I get a gig like this! Haha! Enjoy man! Very cool! I am going to look into both of these!
The tone for lenny was amazing!!!
I'm here for that tone
Tomikám, örülök hogy látlak! Csinálhatnál egy magyar nyelvű verziót is :-)
Amazing SRV player!
Yeah Tommy it sounds awesome man!!!!! lots of sustain!!!!!!!
Great tone👍😀 nice playin’ too
well back to the grind of getting my chops up
I'd kill for that guitar and amp!
one of stevies best live vids... in tokyo
Never heard of Cameltoe Guitars, but it sounds great!
George Lucas
Camel toe? It’s Hamiltone
JoPa GeRi 😂😂😂😂
Its hamiltone pffff
r/wooooosh
George Lucas 😆😅😂🤣
sound great my brother
Hamiltone, from Buffalo NY baby!
nice chops
I am coming to see you and the Texas Flood at the Key's club on my Birthday on Oct 5....all the way from Biloxi, MS. on the Gulf Coast. Heather the cocktail server told me about how wonderful you all were. Been a SRV fan for so so many years. I am totally blown away with your music. Arive at the airport on Oct 4, and then to the Key's club the next night. This will be the best birthday ever!! Thank you for sharing your talent.
This guy is incredible he sounds like Stevie, and it looks like Stevie a little bit!
SWEET!
i have the Van Zandt blues pickup under my stratocaster classic 60
Run a Vibratone next to it with a vibro verb amp and crank it up.. S R V!!!! Killer dude you rock his style spot on!
Do you have Stevies Autograph on the wall under the pick guard next to his soul to soul album? I have that album with plenty more including 2 copies of Texas Flood
I really wanted a Hamiltone; I love that twin binding on the front and back body. But my wife wouldn't let me mortgage the house in order to afford one!
+Kim Cornell Damn Economy
@@maxx.mazzeo damn capitalism
** to the OP VoodooBluesrv** you forgot to mention that what makes this guitar (or at least srv's) so different than a regular american strat is also and mainly its SCALE LENGTH. Hamiltone is longer (26" 1/8) than a regular strat (25.5")! This makes the tone more twangy/more vibrant.
thanks...
I have a Peavey delta blues 1x15 with a mexiacan strat and the tone will knock your socks off
the sound quality of ths vid is impressive! how do you achive that? I listened to it from my tablet plugged on my tiny practice marshal and the sound is absolutely amazing!
Yes sir...
True Lenny Tone!! easgasm, Salute!
Sweet axe, the speedknobs are wrong, but it's a really nice guitar, I'd love to have a replica of this or his first wife!
That is the coolest Strat ever.
fucking awesome dude!
This is about the closest thing I have ever comparable to Stevie's amp in a while...That amp is killer!
The amp is awesome, but set the guitar down and how's it sound now? Tone is in the amp, sound comes from the player! :)
A friend of mine got one of those and I felt that the neck was to beefy for my taste... sounded really good tough. Those are really expensive guitars
Quais seriam os speakers model usado no gabinete ?? Thanks
and do you know which chorus use Stevie in " live in tokio"?? for example the sound at the last of your video)
What brand of pickups did you end of putting in that guitar????
The knobs in the intro are white. Looks a little better than the orange on the replica.
You should come to Ohio. I would pay good money to see your band play.
Tyler Gavin go see Scotty Bratcher plays central Ohio one the Best,,,,he won Kenny Wanye Shepard blues contest,,one of the best Studio Acoustical Rendition of Whipping Post a must hear!🎶👍
Tomi! Hallasz jelentős különbséget az átmenő nyak miatt?
Is that guitar semi hollow? I can't imagine how heavy an all solid neck through maple guitar would be.
is if impossible to find Hamiltone strats to buy today?
I want one. Where do I find one exactly like that??
You know what.....that sounds pretty bad-ass :D :D
i have a question... what is the autograph under black pickguard??;)
The ebony makes it also bright too
-
You should do a cover of ''Life Without You'' sound really nice bro!!!
Regularmente87 yes please
Brother that lovely tone is coming from your beautiful hands and warm spirit not the guitar.
Now take the next step and find find your own signature tone..
We were all inspired by the greats and learned from them "God Bless them" but the time comes to move forward and do "what they did" and find your own sound... or else you will be in their shadow for "eternity".. and you don't deserve that..
What are you saying it's an ugly peice of art? I don't think so
awesomejohnnet let him be bro
Austin Harrison ... I totally agree he is just showing how to get the sound SRV had! Which he does very well! I know nobody can or will ever take Stevie's soul and how great he performed with his own style away from any of us! RIP SRV 🎶 🎸..
Anyone know how can I verify hamiltone serial number?
will you upload a video of you playing life without you with your band
i live in rochester..pretty much the same so i feel just as good haha :)
The biggest reason for your tone being so bright is because the scale length of this particular instrument is 26 1/8 instead of the strat/tele standard of 25.5 inches. Thanks for the video!
What are your amp settings?
isn't the body hollow?
Are those Texas special pups?
Are these still in productuon so I could buy one.
Hamiltone. Remember
buen toque flaco
the modell of the amp ?
what strings are you using?
Speakers, pickups and amp all have more of an impact on brightness than the curly maple has.
Wouldn't want to play another man's guitar, just want my own, set up to my liking.
who gives a shit its all about tone and its all about playing
3:22 starts playing
What is the price you are selling this for? Looks like good condition.
HOW MUCH IS THE GUITAR? I NEED ONE
Made in Indonesia?
is it possible to buy this guitar?
the only thing that is different on this guitar than srv's is the volume and tone knobs on srv there are white on this one is like a gibson or somthing
Are they still making these Hamilton amps and guitars?
I asked Tommy the same thing a month ago and he said yes.
That is my favorite Stevie video. So funny. The Official video. Every guitar player can relate to the girlfriend getting pissed over loving the guitar too much. When she threw him off the building I just about schitt myself. He had guitars stashed everywhere.
Put EMG’s in it like stevie’s originally had
What are the best for the pickup SRV sound..
Riccardo Paolillo Dude you should check out Fralin Blues Specials....awseome :)
I my fender i put Van Zandt blues pickup
how are you liking them
They're nice n bluesy...put em in my 1960 Relic
lollar blackfaces hands down
I hope the coffee didnt get knocked off the amp after the making of this video
Tomikám magyar felirattal pliz :)
Start your own boy band you will be great
We'll I've watched most all your vid's, Top Notch playing, Know body can take that away, But im sitting here wondering to myself, What are you afraid of , You have to be able to play your own stuff, Or write your own stuff I would think, Maybe not I know it can be hard, I mean Stevie loved Jimi, But he didn't just impersonate him , He still did his own thing, I'm wondering why you don't do your own thing, I think if you keep on as a Stevie clone, We just maybe missing a great player that was to afraid to make his own way., Who knows???,. just a fleeting thought..
There's a market for Stevie impersonators! It's hard to be an actual artist sometimes so sometimes you have to take a gig that pays to continue in music
Well if you are going to pick someone to impersonate you can pick no better!
3:21
I would love to own a guitar like this. But shit it's expensive. I'd rather get a Standard Strat
But this strat is different (better imo) than a U.S. strat
not as good as an Oscar Schmidt
Man, am I hearin’ a hint of a Texas accent? I’m an okie but have lots of family, including both parents, and your accent sometimes slightly shows itself. I realize there’s 3 or 4 Texas accents, though lol.
he's hungarian but i guess he copies stevie's accent as part of the cover?
Can people stop telling this man what to do and what to do with his life
hes endorsed he can just get another haha.
