Op07 luffy is really good in this deck. It trashes rather than ko , so it bypasses those sabos against other black decks I really enjoy this deck, but it feels bad when you can’t find the stage lol it needs a straw hat searcher 😅
Oh ya I want to give the zombie Luffy a try for sure. Not finding the Sunny card is pretty tough but still winnable. The nice thing about finding it even any point in the match it just become a free draw. Just can be a tad annoying when you have to Haredas +2 on the rush luffy to gain rush lol
Dressrosa tech looking kinda hype, I will add it to the list to test out! Thank you so much for the suggestions. I'm hoping to spice this deck up even more after i get to try this one out at the next Treasure Cup event :)
trying to use this as a lose guide line to make a locals ready deck on a budget haha iv never played a locals in the op tcg but i dont like to 100% net deck as i like my decks to have some personal home flavour im trying kiado moria and 9 drop kaido
Still a super strong deck. Ended up pulling this out and testing it into some 8.5 Metas and it's still super strong into the different match up. I'm seeing I can update it a little maybe into OP09.
@@MK27Hobbies i didnt have the blocker sabo's so i have some barts in there to help with that and i have 3 of those fancy art sabo's and 3 morias to revive my blockers like nami bart and borsalino's

Ah yes very true, The shuffling can be very distracting for sure. My apologies the deck list itself is also in the description of the video. Adding sub titles may help to get tips in the different match up. I will have an updated OP08 deck profile posted soon. Will try my best not to shuffle the cards as much
4 Sabo works great and it will have your deck ready for OP08. Borsalino was more for the Lucci/Gecko match up. Im hoping to have the OP08 deck build and tested this weekend with pre-release starting on Friday
The Sabo has gone crazy in prices, With prb01 coming out it may drop the prices but that still kinda far away. :( Wondering if we can find a budget build on this one! We will see what we can cook up

I still don't know why op06 cards are getting into PRB when there are staple cards like Sabo, Borsa, Doflamingo blocker, etc that aren't coming back (although I think the new STs will have the Doffy)

Yes, I normally will do so for locals, But for main decks I take to big events I will double sleeve since I've heard people been DQ for triple lol. But I have done events not knowing about the triple sleeves rule and the head judge didn't care. If anything you get a warning and to de-sleeve them. Most time It hasn't been an issues.
I have tried working Gecko into the deck profile but haven't found it to fit with this new type of play style well. I will keep trying to cook it up more once we take this into some of the larger events and see how it does!
I did do some play testing with EB01 Brook. He felt kinda sluggish into most matches since it can be pretty hard to get characters down to 0 cost. It was very strong in the Lucci deck due to the Enies Lobby stage card. But with Brook being a 4k power card, it doesn't help his sustainability and you weren't able to get much value out of him since you really need the extra don to be attached to your leader. In the late game, you're normally spamming your 8 drop Sabos and Rush Luffy so the new Sanji and Usopp synergize better. I do have more experience with this deck now so I may give Brook another try.
Agreed brook is better then usop and there are plenty good - cost in this list to make him viable. You run into same issue of states below with usop but I would much rather have brook
I am play testing an Animal Kingdom version of this deck currently It will cut out many of the navy cards but you will still need a set of blocker Sabos.
The only event I was able to do so far was locals since this has only been release for a few days. I am going to try out deck at the Treasure Cup. This weekend. Fingers cross I can do just as well! :)

What sleeves are those? They look good. I’m a big fan of the clear look and they look thicker than normal.
These are Dragon Shield Matte Outer Sleeves Clear. I always end up picking them up when ever they are in stock since they do sell out quick.
