Aeode seems pretty compelling to me. I had been looking for a 3-way bag, and this would have been on the list if I had known about it. Ended getting a Mystery Ranch 3-way. It arrives in a few days, so we'll see how it goes
Can't pick any of these for a work pack. As I picked the ctb26 for best everyday pack in the other video I'd have to go with the Alpha one niner 1.0x for a work pack, the ctb 26 would work as well but the 1.0x is more sleek imo.The black ember citadel would make for a nice work pack too especially if you don't need external water bottle pockets for an even sleeker look than the 1.0x, any of the sizes depending on your needs as they all look alike and is purely a size difference that can accommodate different sized laptops/tablets.
1. Leather type lunchbox 2. Canvas with leather lunchbox 3. Modern material lunchbox 4. Lunchbox from osprey that gets a pass because a brief can be more boxy. 5. The porter is one that I would consider taking into the office or business meetings. 6. Maybe if you work in one of these hip companies that hosts events but anywhere else I wouldn't want to be seen with this. I have no idea who voted here. But I guess a criteria was that it needed to be a box? Sooo the porter gets a pass and all the other ones would be bullied tbh
OK, first video done. I'm sorry, but all put two of those are ugly looking backpacks - especially the "winner". I don't know what professional environment you work in, but there is no way you can show up with that Cote & Ciel pack in a major metropolitan area anywhere in the world. Osprey and Porter gets a pass.
I am probably in the minority here, but exterior water bottle pockets are a non-negotiable for me. I carry water with me everywhere, and I hate having to stash a bottle in the main compartment. The only pack I saw here with one was too boxy for my tastes, so sadly I can't vote for any of these. That last one is just ugly, IMHO.
You’re not in the minority at all. It’s probably the biggest debate in the carry world. I have a few bags with and a few bags without. The Owala bottles give me the confidence to put water bottles inside of bags otherwise I’d never consider a bag without an exterior water bottle pocket.
vote for Cote & Ciel here! I think the the versatility for work travel with the expansion is awesome. I don’t work in a stuffy finance cubicle so it would be just perfect for my needs =]
Gotta be honest, the Leander is the only one I would even consider to use for work in my sales position. I’ll take the Nomatic Backpack or even an Aer Flight Pack 3 over any of these. These just aren’t for me.
I’ll stick to my Unicorn 2.0, maybe if you work in an office setting these bags work but for my heavy equipment job, my Orange Unicorn 2.0 is THE BEST!!!
i wish people stopped trying to sound smart by using words that mean nothing in relation to the item that they are describing.... what is high tenacity material?? :D
I guess i am working in a different job than most of y’all because i would never even consider any of these for work LOL.
My favorite would be the Osprey followed by the Waterfield. Thank you for the video. God bless! Be safe!

This category is about keeping a professional look while maintaining function

The winner does not look very practical or functional

Osprey Aeode it is. Value for money with simple functional design.

i agree!! if you walk AT ALL with a bag, I can't understand not having a water bottle pocket on it. even a hidden one will do
@ Exactly. I really like the Able Carry Max’s hybrid pocket. There are some clever solutions out there that satisfy both camps 🤓

Cote et Ciel Avone Backpack :) Quirky and cool, just like me haha! 😂
I vote for the Porter
i feel like all of these picks are too big

HT nylon/poly is it's own specific type of material rating!

probably meant high tensile
@@mrmonday42no, it’s high tenacity nylon. You and this other commenter have no idea what you’re talking about.
