- Taken from a never-before released, live recording,...here is a rare recording of Otis's Brew, doing an acoustic cover of Seether's "Broken."
The infamous Wednesday night show, that became one of the longest-running regular shows, in Johnson City's history, Otis's Brew was an offshoot, all acoustic project, started by the members of Sober Otis, in late 2004/early 2005. It quickly became the go-to spot, for all of the service industry workers, local musicians, and rowdy blue collar East Tennesseans, who wanted to chill out, have a beer, and listen to some acoustic rock n roll classics.
There were some variations, of the act, but this track was recorded at the beginning of 2006, when it was necessary to get there, VERY early, if you wanted to get a table.
The lineup here, consisted of: Rusty Honeycutt - Lead vocals, Terry McCoy - Lead Guitar & vocals, and Brad Tester - Guitar & vocals.

I don't think I missed any of those shows... Thanks Brad for all you do to keep his memory alive. He was definitely one of a kind.
Thanks bro. I always tried to make sure I had a copy of whatever video was shot. But, I know I missed a lot. I knew that one day, there would be some way to be ableto share it for all to see. I just never imagined it would be youtube. And, then tracking down a good vcr, buying the converter, and taking the hours to switch it to digital, and editing it, to clean it up. I just hope that when I'm gone, it is still up.
I remember bringing Tyler for his 14th birthday... Rusty asked him if he had a song request. He chose Alone, Godsmack.... we ate cake and made wonderful memories!!!
The best, and worst of times. Those years, felt like a whirlwind that couldn't be stopped, but once it did, it was a completely different world, than what I expected...
