I purchased my 1st ever M49 Preamplifier. It took me about 35 years to be able afford this used item. It will be installed here this weekend. I can't wait to hear it with my existing stereo system.
I wish I hadn't waited so long to try Mac. I was about to sell "another" excellent pair of speakers when on a whim I gave the Mc611's a try. My existing amp had the same power into 4 ohms, but sounded flat and lifeless, the mac let me hear how the speakers could sound. I'm going out on a limb and suggesting anyone dismissing mac never listened to them in comparison to the competition.
Cutting glass is no big deal, go to the Cardinal Glass website, they make the low e sealed glass assys for Andersen and Pella... MILLIONS of sealed glass assy
@@hishamosman4341 My AVA Hafler stuff lasts for decades and was priced for mortals, less hype, lower price, equal and actually better performance. Blue lights don't improve nutin...
Only reason I like Mcintosh and would like to own a couple is because of the blue light and the power output needles . That's it. If you want a good amp you go with emotiva.

Bought my MC300 used in 2010. Seems to me it was like yesterday!
Entry level about 5 500 USD for an integrated amp, but wants one. Pilgrimage also has to be considered. As a hifi tourist!

Vertical integrated mfg. is obsolete, outdated...ya see how car makers got out of it....wake up. Autotransfomers on SS circuits is dumb design
That is your opinion. Being integrated in manufacturing process ensures quality. The fact that it last generations for decades speaks for itself
