The front seats of row were booked for wage workers who clean the kartvayapath(the road on which march takes place) just to acknowledge them. And that's so beautiful that everyone have respect not like in the past.

it's great that India also shows its diversity on this kind of parade. It symbolises that India's diversity is its power.
the practice for the event starts a couple weeks before the main event.
the forces come from around the country. The ones with the camel include Border Security Force (BSF) patrolling borders with Pakistan and Bangladesh.
We don't hear this same music but the ones played by the band during live event.
Climate is usually cold at that time in the city and people can attend and watch from the side depending upon the event capacity.
all the colorful clothing and dances you see later represent the culture of different Indian states.

We celebrate Republic day since 1950.Also display of Indian military fire power with latest arms n ammunition n inclusive of different cultures with diversity.
FYI, this is the famed Republic Day parade, which is a showstopper event. Happens every year on 26th January on the republic day (marks the day India became a constitutional republic) at the Kartavya Path (recently renamed from Rajpath, which had some colonial connotations). The Kartavya Path is the ceremonial boulevard running through the Rashtrapati Bhavan (the president's residence) to the National War memorial located in the heart of the nation's capital, New Delhi. Entrance to the show is absolutely free but as you can imagine crowds throng from every possible direction to catch a glimpse of the Indian marching contingent so it can be hectic to actually find some space. Most people enjoy the event live from their TV sets at homes with their family/ friends. The marching contingent give their salutes to the President of India, who is the supreme commander of the Indian armed forces. As is customary, every year a head of state is invited as the guest of honor for the event - this year it was the Egyptian president Mr. El Sisi. Hope this clears some of your questions. Take care .

India is great. I salute to Indian Army as an Ex Army officer.
This time the speciality was that every system demonstrated was indigenously development and manufactured. Also there was no show of critical technologies this time - this has become a trend in recent years. In this ceremony, you only see the tip of the iceberg!
Also, the music is just the background. In actuality, there are commentaries, playing National Anthem and National Song.
Takes around 2.5-3 hours.
This year everything showed the weapons made in India, and those made in India. I think you should look at the weapons of India now, and the upcoming projects to be made by 2025. You will surely like it. I also hope that the peace in the world is always maintained.

The televised show is accompanied by live commentary where the commentators give a detailed description of the various regiments/forces participating in the parade.
There was a dance performance during this parade, and the whole Republic Day Parade took somewhere around 2 hrs 20 mins
First one was battalion of Egypt, they participated as the Alsisi was the guest. 👍
11:30 26 January 1950 was the day India got its constitution so the same date is used for the celebration of it 😅it's not about picking the right time if you were referring to climate the celebration starts at 6 am

I was there in parde groud fo republic day ritual. Who made this video he has put music in the video they many things there.our p.m Narendra Modi comes there and our president also come there this prade happens in new Delhi parliament House in front of India gate and i also lives in new Delhi

Absolutely sick man . Withness this year the greatest event through my own eyes . Really surreal feeling 😌
The event happens in the capital, Delhi and the contingent crosses India gate. The different uniforms signifies different regiments of the forces. Also the practice happens throughout the year in their respective regiments but they come at least a month in advance to delhi for united practice. There is no music but there is live commentary where they announce which regiment, who is leading the contingent in the march, etc. their history. Even with the floats they explain about it, like the float is from which state, what is their theme and what are they trying to convey. Same with the tanks, weapons. This years parade focused a lot on women empowerment. My husband is a serving officer so it is a very proud moment to see.,

There’s no music in the background but live commentary going on with the details of troops.
Except for the Egyptian contingent at the first position who took part as a first contingent as their President is the host of our Republic Day, the entire military personnel is from India only. No other countries like Nepal etc. took part in this parade. The physical features and facial features of North Eastern states (Himalayan States) resemble the Nepalese and Chienese but they are not from those countries.
No background music is played but only original audio. The music in the video clip is added by the presenter. You can get the recorded parade video from beginning to end on UA-cam. It contains live commentary both in English and Hindi.
