The difference between the blonde who is obviously classicly trained and refuses to show enjoyment and the gut in glasses who understands what folk music is about
You must be talking about Megan Henderson, who plays the fiddle with Breabach, awarded Folk Band of the Year in 2012 and 2022 at the Scots Trad Music Awards.
‘The blonde’ - is a phenomenally talented musician (and dancer) who I think sports a red tassle on the fiddle which gives an indication of the ‘training’ she’s had. And that’s just on the fiddle…Pop along and see Breabach the next time they are performing near you. Just outstanding.
Looks like she's enjoying herself to me. Constantly smiling throughout However I do find that the more proficient and practiced musicians move less than others as over the years they learn to calmly channel every ounce of energy into getting the performance.
@@c47force15 Exact, that's what we learn with fiddle teachers. It's not only a matter of efficiency or managing muscle fatigue, it can also be a sound quality problem. On a side note, I didn't even checked, just by hearing this version of the set, I can tell that they are the fiddlers involved in the Session A9 album.
Adam Sutherland with the best tune ever! Rory is so awesome on piano, absolutely loved this!

What rubbish. You quite obviously don't know what you are talking about.
