I really like this video. I’ve been using another video to try to teach my budgie how to talk like R2-D2….. but what I didn’t like was how fast it went, and how little there was in between noise. This one gives you time to hear the sound, repeat it a few times. And gives a few seconds for the bird to kind of process it. It’s great. I’m gonna be using this one a lot!

I appreciate the effort that went into this! I love how you isolated the sounds, slowed the sequence and translated them! My birds love too. Thank you.😊

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! 8 years of listening to one of my male cockatiels constant, every few seconds flock call. At all times. I tried everything. Seriously. But this works. He's happy. I'm happy. The whole flock is happy. 😊

Stumbled on this for my birdies, they seem to be enjoying it.
Now, a handful of magic mushrooms and me and the flock are set for a while.

@@Poco48 my cat once ate a shroom some years ago while I also had eaten some. I'm pretty sure she was tripping balls and had a good time. sadly she died this year at the age of 18 years. still miss her.
Not like I give drugs to my pets, she was just a little glutton and I wasn't careful enough :D
After her death me and my girlfriend got ourselfs some budgies. One of them is a rescue from a woman who kept him alone and gave him alcohol & coffee. He still tries to steal every kind of fluid from a mug, because that's the way he learned it. Now he's a sober budgie and found some friends. he's actually pretty social and also learned budgies noises. before he could only speak human (german) language, but now he speaks budgie + german

I love this video. I'm so glad I have this to train my parakeets. Do you think you could make a longer version to play throughout the day for my birds while I'm at work? I would LOVE an 8 or 9 hour version.

I thought this was for the human brain.
I'm watching it and it's activating a dopamine affect.
Some of the reason it's doing that is because I feel like I'm in the 80s...

I honestly don't know much or anything about copywrite stuff, and can't seem to find a clear answer, so I figured I'd ask.
I play old video games for high scores, and tape the attempts-I'm pretty active with my flock, so they get a little loud when I "ignore" them for 20/30 minutes, but this video keeps them occupied really well.
Would it be untoward for me to be taping, non-profit, playing a 30 year old SNES game with this going in the background, to submit at Twin Galaxies, a high score site?
I know that's kinda a weird question-I'd never steal, so I had to ask, but let me know, it would be incredibly helpful!

My parrot chose one very annoying sound and makes it as loud as possible. Definitely not a success

    • @matthewbelike
      @matthewbelike 2 роки тому +2

Maybe you can try to condition your parrot to not want to do that sound anymore? Like associating the sound with something the parrot doesn’t like.
Or you could play different sounds that you find more pleasant to try and modify the usual noises your parrot makes. Maybe a catchy song that you like or something.
