If this had been a team of real UFC Fighters and you had to buy packs to try and get the top guys like Jones, McGregor, etc.; then that would've been bad. But this mode actually looks fair & fun, the customisation looks great too, so I'm looking forward to playing it.

Totally agree, the TCG/CCG is ridiculous, I love CCG, Hearthstone is my favorite PC/Mobile game, BUT, I totally do NOT understand wtf is it doing with the UFC game.
+Wobblez It's just like Madden and 2kNBA ultimate team. The cards just represent the move, they could've literally made it anything but they chose cards to represent the moves you unlocked.

Wow just wow, what a fucking EA cash grap again.. Well I'm not surprised. I was in the MUT bullshit year ago and this years Madden was just f'n roster update with little bit better blocking and broken animations. So the ultimate team money is not going towards making a game better that's a fucking sure thing.

+Gnome Sayin' Yea I got it same way 90+ team last year, in muthead I have lots of MHC.. But thats not the point, this years or even last years Madden is just not good enough. They sure as hell have the the money to make it better, make a whole new game engine which it really needs. They should really make us a good franchise mode, this year, like last it was absolute garbage, especially this year. There is just so much missing in simulating game of football that is just absolute laziness from EA or its just the thing that they just dont care about the studio that makes Madden.

it's the same exact game as the last. I want to take on the life of a fighter like Interviews and rivalries. Let us get to create our fighter through out of cage events. EA had it on point with EA MMA letting you start in small shows then make your decision to go to the big show or build your rep in Vale Tudo before making the jump. just think this game could have been so much more but it's just a reboot of the last UFC game produced by EA

I like Ultimate Team in other EA games like Madden and FIFA, but UFC should have it to where you can build a team consisting of actual fighters and improve them. This way, you can make all your favorite fighters Champions. I would have (in this weight ascending order) these fighters on my team (or at least work/earn points towards getting them): DJ, Holm, Cruz, McGregor, McGregor, McGregor (lol), Rockhold, Jones, Overeem. I realize most of these guys are already the Champions, but I want to have a team of the best. Isn't that what UT is all about?

what I'm hoping is that we can still have real world fighters. I guess it's cool to have everyone I know as my fighters, but what if I want to rebuild jon jones or chuck liddell as them but with different skill sets?

I think I'm in the minority but with the amount of fighters they are putting in this game I was kinda hoping you d start with lower class fighters and have to open packs with hopes of unlocking better fighters, very money grabby but I would have preferred that over created fighters

With a 145 lbs Women's Featherweight division being added to the UFC, do you think there will be a patch that adds that division to the game? Only 2 or 3 women will be in it, but still. lol I'd love to create some heavy hitters at 145.

If you like boxing, buy this game. If you like any other form of martial arts find a different game. Players work hard to earn coins to buy better moves and attributes and build an Ultimate Fighter. EA says, "Fuck You" as people with lower stats consistently stop clinch, take-down, or transition attempts 3/4 of the way through. Mortal Kombat would be a good one, the physics are about the same. Online Ultimate Team is terrible. Your first mach can be against someone that has an overall better fighter by 20 points and Stand-up, Clinch, or Ground stats could be 50 points higher than your fighter. EA did not nail MMA in this Title. It almost seems as if they have never seen a UFC fight.
