NETZSCH Inline Disperser PSI-Mix dispersion process

The PSI-Mix process stands for an emission-free, controlled dispersion of powdered solids in liquids that is both repeatable and energy efficient. The video shows the powdery dry material being charged from a BigBag station, the closed area in which the dry material and liquid are combined and the batch tank with agitator.
In general, the Psi-Mix process is divided into two phases: the first phase is the controlled dosing of the powder into the processing chamber. The liquid then flows through the processing chamber such that a thin film is created on the wall, forming a large liquid surface. The powder coming from above is centrifuged by the rotor outward into the liquid film flowing past. It is finely atomized and immersed into the liquid. This process takes place at reduced pressure so that the powder is deaerated before it hits the liquid film, whereby the low pressure is created by the rotor itself.
The second phase serves to homogenize and deaerate the product. Here, the powder feed is closed with a valve and the product circulates between the batch tank and the PSI-Mix. A strong negative pressure forms in the process housing. Microcavitation and the pressure change from reduced pressure in the process housing to overpressure in the return line to the processing tank then improve the wetting of the product. Deaeration of the product is also possible in this phase.

what's the powder discharging rate?

It will vary by product but around 10 t/h with 50% solids content, I have ran trials with these. Quite novel but can be totally in-line and does not have the expensive aggressively wearing parts you find in seemingly similar looking inline-dispersers; good machine not enough exposure.
