I just got an A25 last week. I'm really surprised at how much it offers for the cash. The speakers are surprisingly great! I'm still trying to get more natural colours from the camera, but it works fine as well. I was expecting extremely slow and choppy performance, but the cheap little Galaxy is performing well so far. Very happy with purchase.

@@Chopperr_0 Yes, it's a fine phone. It's not a powerful phone, and the camera isn't perfect. But it's a pretty good deal for the money.

How heavy is it and does it get warm fast?
The phone itself is not heavy at all but the protective otterbox style case for it makes it heavy.
The battery gets warm if you are charging it at 50 percent battery charge, let it go down to 30-25 percent I wouldn't go lower than the 20's percent range though. It takes 3 full days maybe 4 depending on your using style, to get it at 30-25 percent of a charge.

@@magic-muhammed-2029 I've been having it for a few months coming from a LG 4 stylus, and a Moto G stylus and I love the Android update and phone a lot. The camera is much better in day light, still sucks and is grainy at night. Much brighter and sharper screen. I would 100% recommend. Especially since I got mine from Straight Talk at $150
In the camera app there is an option to change the picture quality from 12Megapixles to the 50 it has. you might get better shots.
I have the Samsung Galaxie a25 5g phone, I absolutely love the phone and there is a watch coming for it this October 2024, definitely a must have type of gadget the watch is, amazing Bluetooth quality way better than the other devices I've used. I didn't own any phone like this before, the phones I owned were the basic go on UA-cam LG and TCL 4g models.

The A25 should be your benchmark phone in the ~$300 range. One can find better spec. phones yet they almost always come with downsides (update is very likely one of them).
Sasmung speaks about 5years of security updates about this model and as Samsung acts lately, they even faster provide these than Google for its Pixels.
I gone for the 256 Gb , 8Gb RAM . Lost my old phone and had to decide in a hurry, and i think i mase a good choice. With specialy the 8GB i think it is a mid range performance phone able to last for some time (if nothing wrong hapens like break the screen of my previous A14).
The stereo sound is a realy nice improvement as the 120 refresh.
I suppose the A15 (sucessor to the A14) already gives a reasonable response to a low budget, but if you can get the A25, you'll like it. Of course the other higher mid range A family will get improving and at the end of the game it resumes to how much you can / want to expend. If you want and have money you can go to the top models.
But presently i think more and more that in the next few years the smartphones will change more and nore to maybe something even more developed, and considering the price of the top models, i don't realy think they are worth it right now being so expensive...
There is a security account you need to remember that also allows you to get into a samsung device later and it is a built in security system by a company called knox. What this system does is fix things adjusts if you didnt turn the auto settings off and the knox security system also removes things in your phone like old numbers you called or they called you, text messages which that is storage junk that slows the functionality of the phone.
6 or 8 GB Ram? Is there significant difference fo custom user? I just ordered 8 GB. I use to have my phones for 5-7 years. Samsung A3 2016 at the moment, 3G, which is reeeeallly slow now, with Android 7.0 and only 1 GB Ram.
I chose to get an A34. Similar in price and still good for 3 Android updates and 4 security updates. I think the features are better and with swapping one year less support than the A25
I just bought the A25, and I'm very satisfied with it. I've owned high end Samsung phones in the past, but this one proofs to me, that they are not worth the 4 times higher price tag at all.

Just got one 2 days ago.costed $500 in Barbados currency($250 US)I so love this phone.
I have an otterbox style case for it, im not clumsy with phones but i always buy those cases for protection against scratches you know? This phone back side is not slippery with the case on it. It will fit in your pockets unless you wear summer season style golf shorts. Lol
My carrier have a good deal: every plan costumer can buy a phone from them at discount price, once a year. One payment, no credit, no strings attached. Just buying a phone a preference price. The A25, the 256gb storage and 8gb RAM its now just below $220usd
They have more premium devices from Motorola at the near same price, like the Edge 40 and Edge 40 Neo. But the curved screen is a problem (at least for me) and the A25 have headphone jack and microSD card slot...

If you leave the the display brightness on auto it adjusts accordingly to the light you are in.
The A25 is just too good. Hopefully I get one soon to replace my Moto G Stylus 5g 2022.

@@Zenguy89, yes it is. but you've to shout the apps background down to make it more cold
the buttons being raised on the side is a weird design decision.. it should be concaved so that the buttons are not accidentally pressed or damaged if dropped
Is it true that it doesn't have no one display protection, like would be Corning Gorilla or something? That it only has an usual glass which can be scratched easily?
I just watched a different review which said no Corning just scratchproof
You can buy a screen protector made of tempered glass for next to nothing, for your phone.
@@mauricegold9377 I know this, (who don't know), my question was related to phone screen, not about the solutions for him.
No mention about battery perfomance?😕 And CPU is known to be crappy one from A53. Many complaints about slow perfomance and overheating. Even MTK g99 in A15 sometimes does the job better, while being way more energy efficient.
Why international version of this model costs 50 less than US model?

Fair review, I suppose. What you never seem to find in reviews is a test of how the phone acts as.. well.. a phone. What is the volume like, the clarity, the signal levels/reception quality. Is that too hard/boring/irrelevant for reviewers?
Nor do we ever see a review of the Digital to Analogue Converter (DAC) quality when it comes to playing higher quality music than MP3. Why is that?
I just bought a dongle-DAC to play high quality music from my iPhone, which completely bypasses the internal DAC when you plug it into the charge/data transfer port, just because internal phone DACs are traditionally awful quality. If no reviewers care to review them, the manufacturers will continue to supply new phones with crap converters.

To be honest buy a a 30 type fun it has more benefits as a cheaper phone than all they rest worth the extra 100 euro / dollars by a country mile
