you guys are my go to for all things Japan. The visuals are beauuuuutiful. making of Harry Potter looks sooo cool also Tina... were you wrestling or dancing with sumo wrestlers there? 🤔
You are one of the most energetic youtubers exploring Japan. After watching many others I kinda lost my excitement because it sounded like they were just reading from a script (maybe I was also tired from work) but watching your videos made me all giddy and excited again. I will definitely be going to many of the spots you mentioned (teamLab and Skytree's collab with Pokemon are WILDLY cool)!! :D
This was actually very informative, thank you. I've never heard anybody else talk about these places and anybody who says otherwise is lying, because I've been looking up videos of places to visit and things to do in Tokyo, and this was the first one that had different and unique places
Wow! We’ll be adding so many of these on our upcoming trip. Wish you mentioned the level of kid friendliness on each activity, but clearly you brought your kiddos so it must be ok! Thanks so excited for many of these.
Love to see all the new things in Tokyo! We can't wait to get back there and go to some of these places. The sumo bit was fantastic!!! Thanks for sharing, great video! :)
Do you know if the 24 hour spa will allow you in if your tattoos are covered? We definitely want to go but we also want to be respectful. How do the private family rooms work? Last question? Do you have to be naked in the spa? how does that work.
i am a big fan of your video since 2018. :) Since our family (with 2 little boys) going to osaka soon. Would you mind to share some NEW things to do in Osaka? :) Thank you
Love your video 😍 very helpful for our trip next month! Btw, where or how did you book the private onsen in Manyo club? Loved the information since we’re a bit overwhelmed with choosing onsen 7:09
Thanks for watching! We were able to grab it on the day, first in first serve kinda thing. Maybe online but I haven’t seen anything while doing research.
People should also go to the Yushukan Military Museum, this is a very important part of a trip to Tokyo as you can see an actual Mitsubushi A6M ZERO fighter plane and an actual Type 97 Chi Ha tank of the Imperial Japanese Army. Your mind will be blown,l cannot wait til l go in October and also l will visit the Cemetery at Fuchu to pay my respects to the Japanese Army Generals of WW2 and the Admirals such as the incredible Yamamoto and his Vice Admiral Nagumo. I cannot wait!
Can you let us know when you filmed this? I see hardly any other tourists at all. I was just in Tokyo a couple weeks ago and popular spots are absolutely jam packed with tourists. Didn’t know if this was a summer thing, but you’re wearing hot weather clothes in the video as well.
@@Babyboo186 hey there we filmed this between May and July. Keep in mind that it’s summer school holidays in Japan all of August, as well as many other parts of the world, so most attractions will be super busy until September.
If you don’t mind me asking, what camera do you guys use to film? I’m going to Japan for the first time next month for my honeymoon and looking to capture moments like this!
@@prodigy616 hi there! We mostly use our DJI Osmo Pocket 3 these days because it’s so compact and the quality is great (except in low light). At teamLAB, Harry Potter and immersive fort we used our Sony a7iii because the osmo doesn’t handle low light well. Hope that helps 😊
@@luanam.a.carvalho1984 planets has a huge water element so you will be without shoes for the entire time and knee deep in water. It is really fun though. Borderless is the largest one with the newest exhibits. Both are incredible. It’s hard to pick but if it’s your first time, maybe do Borderless?
@@cindylee3154 hi there! I think they’d still have fun but some of the attractions can be a little too much (some scary) for young kids. Sherlock has a couple confronting scenes, so it really depends which attractions you want to visit inside. It might be best to check their website to see which ones are more suited for your 6 year old 😊
I went to Odiaba team lab with my 12 Y/O and wife early last year. Is it possible to bypass rooms in the new team labs? My wife couldn't go into a few rooms so this was a option. EDIT: Which camera did you use for this? I took a DJI pocket 2 but at Odiaba team labs, it was too dark for the camera to even see anything, My daughter used her iphone instead.
Hmm I'm not sure if you can bypass them, as there's no real map. We were running around lost most of the time lol. But it is easy to navigate back to the main room if you need to get your bearings again. We used our Sony A7iii. We have a DJI Osmo 3 but didn't think it could handle the low light.
@@mishunot hmm Harry Potter is pretty far but I suppose it’s possible if you start early. They’re both open until late 9/10pm so it is possible but will be a huge day.
This was pretty cool. Everything I’ve seen about Tokyo has been boring. Nothing new and exciting from a modern city perspective coming from the US. I don’t care too much about Japanese culture so this was cool to see some western type attractions.
You hit the nail on the head…Some of these places are overrated… You gotta cope with rude couples who are usually from some random countries in Europe or whatever and screaming kids at all these sight attractions. It will challenge your patience threshold.
@@rrr96100 ah yes because people from 'random' European countries are worth less than the greatest people on planet earth, the AMERICANS which you can hear talking from 2 blocks away and think they own the place
