I have a sweet memory with this song, I was traveling to Hyderabad from Howrah , I was in class 8 or 9, my berth was not with my parents. And there I was on a side upper berth , the train was running through Odisha at night and someone was playing this song on audio cassette player, and for a moment my eyes met the beautiful eyes of another girl who was on another upper berth . We looked at each other for a moment which felt like a lifetime. We could only share our names, it was before we had a mobile phone, so couldn't share numbers or contacts, anyway it was almost 20 years ago but still can remember the day. Despite your attempts, the heaviness took over and the tears sprang to life. Once your lids fell close, the memory came back as if to attack the wounds in your soul. His hands intertwined with yours. Him smelling the scent of your hair, securing a necklace. Him feeding you. Him grinning brighter than the sun. You sobbed and didn’t stop. Not until it was time to soak it all again. It was over.
