I love how you picked Shadow to lead the group. I'm a believer in the Baram theory... why else would the dreams be there? Why is Shadow in the Empire? Why is he the one to push the Statues and stop Kefka just in time to save the party? And then, give up, and try to get killed in the Colosseum? All the more guilt, all the more shame, he's given up, wants to die. Until his dagger is back in his hand, as a reminder of what he swore he would do. Set things right, once and for all. I dunno if you intended that, but even so, excellent cover. As always.
Wow! Absolutely best cover of Dancing Mad. YOU ARE AWESOME!!! That heavy dropped strings rythm sound is exactly what I was dreaming for in this song, and you done that! I really appreciate all the work you put in this masterpiece. Great mixing and mastering skills also! HUGE RESPECT. Greetings from Poland
Far too little views, really. Going to spam this a little more on facebook, post a link on a website that I know would love this (and, in fact, loved the pre-pro version), and possibly yell at my friends a little bit.
Kefka is arguably the most devilish of all the Final Fantasy villains. Some find redemption before their demise, like Kuja, Golbez, at least they feel bad about what they did. I suppose the Dark Cloud, Necron, and Zeromus, they all seem more like forces rather than individuals. Darkness, Death, and Hatred. Then there's Ultimecia, (She's an odd one though, because I think she's Rinoa from the future, no matter what the writers or anybody says... if she's not, that story is a total mess.) Ex-Death is interesting though, he's akin to Sephiroth, with one big caveat - Ex-Death wants to possess the power of the Void, where as Sephiroth, (Jenova, in case you didn't know,) wants to create more beings on another planet, granted, one collective mind, and quite evil beings if I might add, but hey, that's something, it's, creation, instead of destruction. I dunno. I would argue that Kefka is the most sinister, most evil, his wicked grin... It's horrifying if you think about it. He's grinning at you until the end. He knows he's lost. But he smiles and cackles at you anyway... Like the opposite of Aeris. "She smiled until the end." Ex-Death would have to be number two, he's just plain chaos. Eh, I can't rank 'em. I'm drunk. Zemus, or should I say Zeromus! He's probably number three. Granted I haven't played anything past FFX. I love the game, but Yu Yevon doesn't have the story arc to really demonstrate a whole lot. Some, but... Not like the aforementioned. Change my mind.
"You all sound like chapters from a self-help booklet!"
One of the best lines ever uttered in a video game.
Always been one of my favorites. I quote it frequently.
"Ahem... There's SAND in my boots!"

Even if the name was a last minute thing, it sounds real cool
And the way you linked the song with the vanishing sound of a dying Kefka is wonderful!
Easily the best cover of Dancing Mad on UA-cam. Incredible work man!
Finishing out some artwork and absolutely needed this playing in the background. Great work!
This is one of the best covers I have heard
Actually liked your first version better lmao
This is still amazing though!
Every time I hear his laugh...
