Thank you so much man. I played the hell out of Diablo 3 but it was my first Diablo. Never played it passed the campaigns and their DLCs though. I'm a 25 year old man and I had to have this shit explained to me because I selected "MINIMAL GUIDANCE" at the start. Oh man what a mistake.
Although I think d4 is pretty garbage I don't think.this is really a big problem id already found every thing by the time I needed to.use one.and it's not i be there much else to chase at end game
I just want to note that this paragon board build will give you a ton of damage since it checks a lot of the different damage buckets, but as a note I feel like creating a board like this is only for those who are level 100. Trying to weave through multiple boards early on just to get those glyph sockets will be a detriment to your progress early on especially if your not the type to run one dungeon 1000+ times to get to level 100. A lot of early damage and survivability will be lost for most classes doing this.
Yes this is a board I respecced into a bit later on...essentially I ran 5 boards then added a 6th board as I got nearer to 100. Then after I hit 100 I went to a 7th board and removed many of those added nodes. So ya on the way make sure to get some nice nodes until you want to spec out later
@@MrLlamaSC your review had you skipping the lucky hit frost legendary node, and just a few more away from that was some more rare lucky hit nodes, do you feel lucky hit has diminishing returns and that's why you opted not to go for it? (apologies if I am mis-remembering and this is completely inaccurate)
I think at 100 and with some good glyph levels under your belt, prioritizing glyph sockets pulls way ahead. For leveling though, depending on your class, some of the legendary spots can be pretty nice as long as you have your really crucial glyphs slotted at least
It would be a good idea, but knowing blizzard and recent gaming trends especially with Diablo Immortal and the Legendary Gems, they may monetise Unique Glyphs by getting us to pay for them via microtransactions…

Going for a 6-7 glyph board is certainly the best for damage, but you end up losing a lot of life/armor/resists from the rare nodes. My rogue has 9K armor in town, and a good amount of that comes from paragon nodes. I imagine sorcerer boards get mostly resists instead of armor, and because resists are just bad right now this might explain why you feel like glyphs are better than everything else
Wow I just realized that Exploit works differently for Sorc then it does Druid. For Druid it actually makes enemies Vulnerable when you damage them and ALSO gives Vulnerable dmg. So Glyphs might work differently for different classes even if they have the same name. Interesting...
why can't I set my glyph on the attached board? I have a glyph on the first board where you start and have gone to the top to attach 2nd board but, I can't place a glyph in the socket.
How many times does the radius of the glyphs increase? I didn't want to upgrade a glyph too high where i couldn't benefit from the bonus due to lack of attributes within the radius for the requirement bonus.

No you cannot save the exp. You have to use it to level a glyph when you complete the dungeon. Of not it will be lost once you open a new nightmare dungeon.

There should be some kind of paragon board item drop that has different/RNG layouts. Just like we grind for a perfect item roll, we would grind for a perfect (for ur build) paragon board world drop

I know this is almost two weeks old, but, I tested some of the werewolf glyphs and have determined that they aren't working (not giving listed damage). Other classes have also reported similar feelings with their glyphs. Has anyone else tested this?

There’s a connector piece that looks like a gate that has +5 to every stat. Once you spec into it you will be able to preview other boards ( the bottom will tell you what button) and select their orientation.
Question, I have a glyph that has a requirement of 25 dex to get the bonus ability, but there's nowhere near enough dex in range, and even if I upgrade it to 15 there'd be none in range, uuughhhh wtf? lol help?? haha

Some classes have terrible legendary nodes and some like druid have most of them be incredibly strong. Def on bad node classes get all the glyphs. Best use I found for magic node buffing glyphs is put them near damage reduction nodes like DR vs poisoned/bleeding enemies.
Yeah, what on earth is the point of the blue, magic glyphs? I would never use one instead of the rare glyphs. If the paragon boards let you slot multiple glyphs, 1 rare and then multiple magic glyphs, that would make sense, but right now, they're pointless.
They're not pointless. You get the blue glyphs for free while you're still farming the yellows. If you immediately start doing nightmares at 50 you'd have nowhere for the glyph xp to go. Blue glyphs aren't for hardcore players but certainly have a point.
I’m 0:45 doing nightmare dungeons and all the higher POWER GEAR that I get has TRASH BONUSES & TRASH ASPECTS , WTF 🤬 How am I gonna get stronger is all the higher powered gear that I find is garbage this game is extremely confusing and there’s way too much going on they make it too difficult making a build should be something simple that’s something you have to take a college course to understand that’s ridiculous

D2r with new builds, classes. Otherwise, warhammer chaosbane you could give it a shot. Comes on sale. Same with warhammer inquisitor martyr. Torchlight infinite and undecember free to play and both work on android and apple tablets. They are not pay to win regardless of what the reviewers say as I tried both. Currency sold in shops is easily attained. All these are on PC also.
Except you can only get ancestrals in WT4 which you need for end game builds. Also you get double the xp...so yeah no reason to do it. Unless you value the 2 most important things in the game

Hard disagree. While I don't absolutely love d4 itemization/paragon, d3 unique gems were a pretty bad system. Not only did everybody run the same few mandatory gems, but you could very easily get stuck when pushing rifts where to progress you needed to upgrade your gems but couldn't do so until you'd progressed farther. I don't think d4 paragon is an improvement in terms of diversity as everybody is once again running the same glyphs (exploit, crit damage class glyph, etc) but it is definitely an improvement that you can continue to level up your glyphs even if you can't yet do higher-tier nightmare dungeons. Further, while I enjoyed parts of d3 for the game that it was, it 100% did not have better itemization. Every non-zBuild ran the exact same stats: double crit+attack speed (zBuilds had their own set of mandatory stats that they all ran). The same cubed lego powers. The only really interesting thing about d3 itemization came with the sets and seasonal balance changes, which were not available at launch and are highly likely to make a return once seasonal play starts in d4. Like there are definitely problems with d4, but this level of pants-on-head seething is pretty ridiculous.

What's also cool is that you can't drop twice the same glyph so you end with all of them in a short time.

Nah, for the simple fact that you can reset it for cheap. Just play around with it, doesn't matter.

Winter currently is a complete fail. I don't believe there is a single cold dmg node it can actually affect. But the X bonus of it still works

You have to click on agility nodes in the radius of the glyph

Get to the gate node, which is at the top of the starter board.
Click the gate and preview the other boards and the option to place is under the preview window.

I don't think d4 paragon is an improvement in terms of diversity as everybody is once again running the same glyphs (exploit, crit damage class glyph, etc) but it is definitely an improvement that you can continue to level up your glyphs even if you can't yet do higher-tier nightmare dungeons.
Further, while I enjoyed parts of d3 for the game that it was, it 100% did not have better itemization. Every non-zBuild ran the exact same stats: double crit+attack speed (zBuilds had their own set of mandatory stats that they all ran). The same cubed lego powers. The only really interesting thing about d3 itemization came with the sets and seasonal balance changes, which were not available at launch and are highly likely to make a return once seasonal play starts in d4.
Like there are definitely problems with d4, but this level of pants-on-head seething is pretty ridiculous.

At least in d3 you knew all your items, none of this D4 stuff is memorable unless you have 1 or 2 uniques equipped. the rest is just random crap with random stats and a boring aspect imprinted on it. my take on this. even the uniques in d4 aren't real uniques, they're just legendaries in disguise with kinda frozen stats. it's just so boring, i don#t even wanna pick up items anmore and i haven't even reached lvl 70

@MrLlamaSC are the global multipliers only on the glyphs or are they also on clothing and weapons?
skill tree and glyphs there. gear doesn't really give multipliers much if any
