I have this exact set up with the Scorned Magna SnS and love it
Sounds fun. I need to give it a try. SNS was my original main weapon in 3U then I fell in love with the switch axe
Powder Mantle feels so broken, no matter what build you put it in it increases the damage by so much. I really hope Capcom doesn't end up nerfing it.
I really hope they don't either. Right now it's my favorite perk to have

@@flipthedps I have it on my favorite build it’s level 2 and it is very nice against the Q monsters it really works well on them
What makes it strong is how easy it is to get level 2 with how good the helm and chest are, you use it for the crit eye and wex and get powder mantle as a bonus
I was able to aug my Risen toaster armor with level 4 hellfire cloak and been making builds around that

@Emerald Azure yeah I am currently dabbling in dual blades for the first time in 10 years haha. I'm almost at 400hrs in rise but took a break for a year haha

You should try my build it has Attack 7, wex 3 crit eye 7 blast 3, evade extender 2, power mantle 3, coalesence 2, flinch free 1 masters touch 3, razor sharp 2, handicraft 2, teo blessing 2, burst 3, intrepid heart 2, and mounting master critical boost 3

Ik dual blades arent for big numbers but its defenly better than not bieng able to defeat most of the monsters in 6 and 7 starts cuz my damage is 9 and sometimes kicks 20.

Yeah.. crit boost on helmet.. Just spent 500 materials looking for it. This RNG is actually insane and I'll probably just quit mh rise tbh.
