I never forget the original song sounded just like this one, even in picking the guitar strings in the intro...is this the guy playing the guitar in the Fauula original of this song back in the mid 1970’s? So much memories of my years on boarding school at Fiji School of Medicine, Tamavua Campus, Fiji from 1974 to 1978 at Hoodless House at CWM.
Hi there, No mate this isn't the guy from the Fauula band. This is Vili Ieru from the Tiamaa band, one of the best back in the day, around the same era as Fauula, Punialavaa, Maatulua etc.
You're changing the tune and some of the lyrics..this is my late brothers song .( Tagapulu Tuliaupupu).and you have no right to sing it on UA-cam.(so sad) copyright!!
I can sing it too if I want to, so long as I don't earn money from it. It's a public property for now. A song of this quality is to be sang for the next generations of Samoans to hear and sing. You should be happy that Vili is singing your brother's song.

Anyone can cover any song, just don't make money from it.
