What a fantastic intro to this game. Serious, adult, professional. All gamers should be using Heavy Cardboard as a resource. As I personally have said in the past, the marriage of HC to ION Games/Sierra Madre Games as a creator-teacher relationship is grossly underrated in the industry.
I think around 4:54:20 (or 2-3 turns earlier) they could have helped Jess and Edward by shipbuilding before posting between two of the embargos. It helps Edward by giving him bonus VP while doing his much-needed fundraising, and helps Jess by removing barriers when he knocks out the embargos. I have been yelling at the screen about it for a while now. :) Get ships built between Japan and China, and between Australia and Indonesia, then let Edward deal with the 4 blockades during a few fundraising actions.
1:30:00 You should probably do these action in reverse. First shipbuilding paid by 3 pawns from capital to wealth ( it is a mandatory and preffered way of paing). Then syndication, that would cost you 0+0+1 instead of 0+0+2..
I would LOVE to know how you made the mat. I’ve found, the BGG crowd mat designs to big to get printed onto neoprene here in Australian. The one you guys are using looks great and within limits, I think,,, guessing.
There was a highly detailed 90 minute teach, then during the game, they discussed their moves in detail so the audience would understand why they were doing what they did. I’ve been able to knock out 3-player games with experienced people in around two hours.

I like that BGG contributions from time to time make it to the streams!
This is a great game! Thanks a ton for this teach. It's an asset to keep. 💯
Thanks for doing play-throughs like this! Not sure why, but it was really enjoyable that, at times, you were so frustrated with the semi-co-op stage 🤓
