Both. Inazuma eleven has always been an RPG first, footbal second. But it's not until this game that the RPG aspects really become super obvious.
It's a mix of the old inazuma eleven games and a game called inazuma eleven strikers but with a more modern take on it and yeah it's an rpg game about football

Does this cover the whole story?
No, this is only the first chapter of it. This is just a beta demo of the next Inazuma Eleven game that came out at the end of March and will end during the last week of June. Only had the online soccer mode available. Then they just updated the demo to feature the first chapter of the story mode, which is what this video is. Don't know if more chapters will be added before the beta ends, but there is more story and that will very likely have to wait until the full game is released.
