This first-person liminal space game almost looks real - Dreamcore

Dreamcore is a liminal space exploration and puzzle solving game, where the main objective is to reach the end of each level. It offers the freedom to explore as each player likes, always between the universe and aesthetic of backrooms and the found footage. You will be able to explore the liminal spaces in a way never seen before and in first person; the camera has an interface reminiscent of the old VHS tapes, and tries to be graphically faithful to the feeling you might experience if you were inside the backrooms.

Every time I've seen someone playing this they discover new places. You didn't come across the entity which, had you seen it and got too close runs away and ends up in that last room before the lift and it kills you. BTW, the very last smiley face ball rolls over the tunnel and locks you in so you can't run away from the entity if it is there.

All the water/pool levels of the backrooms get to me extra hard, cuz I have been to a few water parks that had an indoor area, or an indoor lazy river, and during the weekdays these places would be empty af. Some spots would always have weird liminal space like lighting, and the worst part was the uniform color everything had. White tiled walls and blue tiled floor. It always felt like if I went in there alone without any friends i would have gotten lost. Luckily none of those places had the impossible architecture that the backrooms have but still, there's a weird amount of extra fear the familiarity of these areas adds.
