Was the glorious trip to Florida a one off or could Aer Lingus deliver a consistently solid Business Class package? A question I wanted to answer as I upgraded my flight home. Enjoy this Aer Lingus travel vlog in what I feel is one of the best budget (mainstream?) business class packages in the sky!
@@shaunpayne81 You can get really affordable BC flights with Aer Lingus depending on when you go, naturally me upgrading at the desk is most likely the most expensive it’ll ever be but if you shop in advance you can get some good deals!
Sooo funny the way fear of heights impacts people differently. I can't look out the window until maybe half way up but then I love it once I'm up there. That first bit of leaving the tarmac though 🤢
Looks like another smashing flight mate. Completely doesn't make me jelaous thinking about all those Ryanair flights sat in my 4" wide seat with my microwaved sausage butty 😂
@@LiftHillsandThrills are you kidding, it's cheaper to fly VIP on Emirates then to pay for an upgraded seat on Ryanair 😂. They're one step away from charging for bog roll 😁
Mate! I love your vlogs on Orlando. I enjoy the UK ones too, don’t get me wrong but I just love Orlando! Great work again pal! 🎉 Can’t wait for the next trip - and if you need a videographer 😜 holla (Birmingham based!)
haha cheers mate and appreciate the offer but when I'm in control of the angles I like doing it myself haha if the channel hits 100k subs, hit me up again and we'll see what we can do! aha
Just to clarify - that wasn’t a dig at the filming. I enjoy the personal way of you doing it. The emotion is captured so much better. I’m just trying to blag a trip to the states! 😅💕 see you at 100k! 😅
I really enjoy your vlogs! I'm doing the aer lingus flight from MAN to JFK next year in business class, I know you've said that you're scared of heights and I'm in the same boat.. I haven't flown in years because of it. Any tips on staying calm during the flight? And it's nice to see a fellow Stokie on here!
@@CharlotteAndWhiskey Hey fellow Stokie! I think with me and especially with what I do (riding coasters / travelling) it’s always a feel the fear and do it anyways otherwise I wouldn’t get very far. Closing the blinds after take off / looking away or at the screens infront of me certainly help. Just any distractions really that keep you occupied if it bothers you that much. Really appreciate you checking out the vlogs!
Excellent video!! 😅👏 Thank you for sharing the Air Lingus business class experience. Heading to UK upcoming summer 2025 for parks, and considering booking business class for long haul.
Highly recommend it, I did both journeys there and back but coming back on a late afternoon flight and getting some sleep you’ll wake up on UK time with zero jet lag. Thanks for watching!
I still find it funny that you are afraid of hights while you are a Themepark and rollercoaster reviewer. :D And it is not god, that the food on your flight looks better then the stuff I am making xD Maybe I have to fly the next time business, never did that before. Love your videos
Haha I know… it’s never about the rollercoasters for me they’re more the tests I have to overcome if they’re tall etc it’s always about the escapism, the theming and the entire package. Appreciate you watching them!
We use that lounge each time we goto MCO. If you have a Revolut metal pack you get free access to the lounge for you and your party. An advantage if you don’t want to pay the business class prices.
Hi if you're afraid of heights and hate taking off my advise is bring your own buebtooth headphones download movies and watch them and DONT look down 😅 But seriously its the noise of the engines that i hate so the earphones and movie helps and I just bury my head in the phone
That’s really good advice! The headphones they provided certainly weren’t noise cancelling! 😂 but don’t look down is always advised! Aha thanks for watching
@@laurs5551 😂 how would they know I’m a UA-camr? 😂 anyone can ask, if there’s space in business class you can upgrade at the desk but you’ll be paying the highest possible price for it. Aer Lingus have a bidding system in place in the days running up to your flight where you can bid on a seat, you’ll get it cheaper this way but it’s not a guarantee of an upgrade unless you’re accepted
Oh okay good to know. How much did you pay for this upgrade then? I just thought because you're filming etc and obviously have a camera as to the youtuber bit. I know virgin do simular things with bidding and upgrades@LiftHillsandThrills
@@djtintinThey do indeed but I genuinely prefer Aer Lingus to Virgin’s Upper Class, it’s cheaper, seats are better, in flight entertainment is better and the food is nicer

Aer Lingus seem like a fantastic airline - the food looked incredible 🙂
Restaurant quality food, it really was!
It’s been an amazing trip and glad we got to follow you on it

The wing seats (next to the safety doors) have LOADS of room on RyanAir, they're the best ones! aha
