Ok confess to us that reason you didn’t leave it in the fridge longer is because you couldn’t wait to have a taste. Don’t blame you as it looks delicious 😋
Its funny how of all the exorbitant pleasures and joys in life, that the simplest ones bring the most joy. Your recipes have been such a pleasant break from the rat race over here in the states. Thank you sir for these videos, they have brought me great peace and joy. Cheers from Washington State!
It just shows you the mark up when out for a meal or just coffee and a cake, so cheap to make at home, but boy the prices in shops. This sounds a lovely recipe.🏴
Very clear instructions, can't wait to try to make this cheesecake myself! I really love how this channel always brings easy and tasty recipes with the accessible ingredients. Much love
Delicious and no bake ! I usually don’t like no bake cheesecakes as they all seem to use gelatine or condensed milk. But not this one - you did it again ! Wonderful ( especially with the homemade cream cheese). Thank you ❤️
Once again another. Super delicious recipe thank you so much cheese cake looks amazing you always explain instructions so well making life easy for us all please keep up your good work looking forward to pasties etc thank you your a pleasure to watch
This looks absolutely delicious! I’d like to make the cream cheese too… Also IMHO, the Bourbon Biscuit is a 👑 King amongst biscuits! 😋 Thanks for a great recipe.
Fantastic I will make the cheesecake for the weekend, once again a great video very clear instructions everything you do is brilliant I’m sure that lots of people get so much inspiration from your videos young and old alike 😀
Delicious.... l used to make one like this years ago.. My daughter and granddaughter are visiting next week.. they are about 15 hours drive away.. So I will do this recipe for sure
Just my opinion but, maybe try dark first. l think by the time the chocolate is mixed with all the other ingredients, milk chocolate won't have enough flavour and dark chocolate will taste more like milk chocolate. I'm not a fan of dark chocolate either but l would definitely use it for this. 😊
Thank you for another lovely and easy to follow recipe. Full cream milk is very expensive, I think it’s cheaper to buy the cream cheese ready-made here in New Zealand. I made the Chili con carne and it was delicious!
Ooo, fantastic. Going to have to try this! I'm looking to make pie crusts using part biscuits, part oat flour (ground up oats) to reduce costs further & make fridge tarts a little healthier. Could one replace some of the choc with cocoa powder (reduce costs further awa less sugar)?
@@BakingOnABudget Special occassions deserve extra yummy ingredients (like cream & lots of choc), but for "every day" recipes it's great to be able to cut back a little to save for such special occassions (dinner parties for friends, birthdays, xmas etc) then I can go all out on ingredients. Thanks for this great recipe!
Come on Dave how many slices of that did you really eat, yum yum... 😂. Very economical considering, if you order this in a restaurant you would be paying around £3 a slice. Brilliant Dave luv your channel.. Michelle
I'm not sure if blending granulated sugar will substitute for icing sugar. Icing sugar also has corn starch in it - I guess it depends how you are using it. I suspect it would also dull your blades pretty quickly. Thank you for the video. Looks delicious.
You just have to make sure you sift it before using to remove any granules that didn't powder. Even my Thermomix cannot powder all of the granules. As sugar is half the price of icing sugar where I live, it can be worthwhile. The cornstarch is added (about 3% by volume) to stop it clumping and going hard. Icing sugar tends to absorb atmospheric moisture quite readily. Give it a go, you may be surprised. I have never had any blender not cope, nor go blunt from doing this. 😃
My icing sugar works out okay in a small spice grinder....and much cheaper than the shop bought icing sugar. The cheesecake was delicious....hope you give it a try. Thanks.
Hi Dave , I asked this at the bottom of another video, silly me, but do yiu think this gorgeous cream cheese is stable enough to whip up with double cream to fill and top a cake. ? Thank u soooo much.
Hi Dave, while I love your recipes and simple methods many of which I've made successfully this one costing £4.97 is expensive. You can pick up shop-bought for around the same price and less so not so budget friendly!
You said it. I made the potato leek soup and it was delicious but the leeks cost $4.75 for 3 leeks. However, that is not his fault everything costs more here.
@@BakingOnABudget You are right, and in higher priced places it is even more important to save money. In Canada today we earn 40% less than in the US but pay much higher prices for everything. A doughnut and coffee in the most popular coffee shop is now $6
You’re the boss when it comes to quality affordable food 👍

Taking the creme out is a great idea as otherwise it may be too sweet?
I always take the cream out....I think it makes the base uch more crisp.

Where do you get this stuff cheap in the uk 😅
Mainly ASDA but I also get some stuff from Aldi and my local fruit and veg shop. Thanks.

62 pence a slice. In a restaurant that would be 10 dollars. smh. 💕🇨🇦🙋♀️
Yes...I thought 62p was a little expensive but compared to cafe/restaurant it's a real cheap recipe and delicious. Thanks.

Can u tell me please why my fruit cake didn’t rise like yours , i followed your video so i don’t know what i did wrong , im gutted 😢
Check your oven temperature.
Yes check the oven temp. Thanks.
when i moved to a different part of Canada, the elevation played a role in my baking rising or not.
£4.97????for a cheesecake???, do you think we're actually made of money, Jesus mary and Joseph
Yes that was one of the more expensive recipes.....but good for a treat now and again. Thanks.
