NOOOOO! DO NOT SCRAP THIS BUILD! THIS BUILD IS THE BEST PROJECT YOU HAVE EVER DONE BY FAR!!! Don't lose focus! This is your bread and butter right here. There's tons of channels goonzquad like that just do basic repairs and paint. Nobody is building their own cars from scratch by themselves in their shop. This is what makes you unique. Keep pushing forward! Much love and respect.
Greetings brother V. I've been a loyal subscriber from go and will continue to be. I have however, stopped making comments due to negative feedback from some "fans" that are annoying to me and always criticizing you. This morning I decided to comment. I heard your frustration with this car, but DON'T give in to the frustration....it happens to the best...this is a HUGE and difficult project AND you're doing it alone to boot. You're good people from an awesome family and I for ONE completely support your effort. Too many people these days are all about quick turnarounds and instant gratification....no worries, stand your ground, take your time
The worst thing is: he's doing it alone. SO many issues to over come and so many decisions it's always nice to have positive reinforcement from someone else. "here hold this" and "let's do this" and "yeah, that's fine let's do it".....
@@muskokamike127 I feel you on that for sure....as you say....it's comforting to have someone "fetch" if nothing else, lol. Ben is gonna be fine ...lots of positive energy out here for him. 😎
Watching what you're doing is simply amazing.... I live in California and I'm 50 years old I always wanted to learn how to work on cars the way you do I would give up everything I have just to be an apprentice of yours just to learn everything you know ...
I have a 66 Mustang and I laid down the sound proofing the same way, but also added it to the inside of the doors, which made the doors sound extremely quiet when closing. The cabin is very quiet when driving down the road. Good job on Your Mustang!
I know what you mean about building a car. There are times when you could just give up. It is a hell of a lot of work. A little before your time back in the 70's I built a 32 Plymouth rod from a fibreglass body here in the UK. It took me 4 years and some jobs like fitting the doors and making the windows work then doing the interior, including a heater for the wet misty days here in the UK took weeks and weeks with it not looking like much progress. The fun bits like the engine don't actually take that long.
Give up?? Give up!!?? No way!! This is what keeps me coming back to your channel. The classic! I’m also building a ‘65 mustang but with the stock motor. It’s interesting to see how you do your thing but also nice to get feedback from other armchair quarterbacks and how they would do certain things. This is how we all learn things. Love the build and how creative you are. Keep it going, it’s not a race.
I asked for this video a long time ago, asking for you to show me how you wired everthing cleanly. Reply guys said "wrong channel" I am glad you showed this. you did great.
You should put some underlay in the footwells as well when the carpet goes in to help dampen it further, and give you a nicer surface for your feet when you're inside. I reckon it would look great with a loop pile carpet as well; maybe dark grey
Don't give up on this project vTuned, this is coming along really well. Like others have said, this is a pretty unique project and I think that you will be very proud of all the work you put into it when its finished.
I must say, for a first timer you did a pretty amazing job with that sound deadening material, looks good too. The car is coming along nicely and I understand burnout which is why it’s nice to take breaks and work on other stuff. Looking good tho man, 👍👍
I also hope you’ll see this through to the finish, because it’s much more interesting to watch the creative process than some routine repair job. You are making progress !! Stay strong and motivated.
Put a bit of ATF in all the cylinders so you don't get frozen rings. It will help as well by the time you get it running. Stick with it, Ben. You're doing great!
Definitely glad you did the back. The fuel pump would probably drive you nuts if you didn't. Keep up the great work, the car is coming along quite nicely. Absolutely nothing wrong with zip ties, especially when no one will see them anyhow. Don't give up!!!
You're Human! If you need to take a break, do it. Been watching you since day 1. Resto-Stang is by far your best build. Don't let it get the best of you. Show it who's the Boss. Love your Honesty about your Feelings and when you make Mistakes. Very Humble Person and it Shows.
I might think about putting the battery somewhere other than right next to a fuel tank. Somewhere in the backseat area would be a lot safer. Rivnuts are your friend when mounting things inside the cockpit. Way easier than nut and bolt and way more secure than self tappers.
Keep pushing forward brother... you’re doing an awesome job. You’re the only rebuild channel I watch now on UA-cam. I unsubscribed from all others since they get on my nerves. God bless
That sound deadener will dampen the road noise for sure and it looks great too. I bought one of those metal panels for my 65 too in case of a rear end collision.I'm thinking I'll use pop rivets on mine.I still have to install my sound deadener. Thanks for showing me how. See you next video.
Brotha you got this all building and customize takes time but the sweet part is when your done and people see the awesome work you done to your ride thats the finally pay off brotha ...NEVER GIVE UP!!!!!!!
I understand if you're feeling a little overwhelmed, but don't give up. Get some help, you have talented brothers that can help and will be eager to lend a hand. You are young and most of us older people are inspired by your work ethic and your enthusiasm, You have skills and talents that most people wished they had! Keep up with the good work and videos!
Great job on the car. Remember, it is you putting the time scale on the car. Project Binky was over 7 years and very popular. You can take the time you want to get it right. It doesn't have to be done tomorrow... You are doing great work. keep it up
The key to sound proofing is isolate the interior surfaces from sound vibrations. The adhesive mats help stop vibration from sound and road noise. The heavy rubber material needs to be hung on the door panel with industrial Velcro adhesive strips. They are available online. You’ll be disappointed with stick on material alone. If you use both the stick on mat and the heavy rubber like material you should get about 10dbm drop in road noise. That’s not bad. It’s a lot of work but worth it.
Hi V. Don't quit on the stang!! I think it's turning out great. Remember to sound proof the roof as well for rain and hail noise. Love your work. Cheers from South-Africa. Paul
Great progress!! Looking forward to the rest of the build. I know you've been commenting on not having any motivation and I totally get it, hang in there bc we all enjoy your content!

Ben if you need a break take one. This mustang is turning out awesome. It is nice and clean the engine bay and trunk are perfect. Love your channel and content. ❤🇨🇦
Ben don’t give up on the mustang, take it all the way all your viewers know you can do it ! Yes it’s difficult to keep momentum on a long term project but totally worth it !
Man once your driving this thing and ripping it at the track your gonna be so happy with all the work you put in on it, plus we love watching you build it. don’t worry about the critics 😆
All good just reconsider the battery place location, remember gas fumes and sparks don't mix both in the trunk not a good idea, blessings to you and your family, love the project looking forward to see it finished
Ben, you need to make a clear statement at the beginning of your next video that you are committed to completing the 65 Mustang. You subscribers have stuck with you for overs 2 years watching this build and helping you grow your channel. Don't disappoint us. Nice work Ben! I felt you when you said your back hurt. First time I installed sound deadening, I had no idea how much it would kill you back. It’s a far worse job than I expected.
Great work! I notice you said this was starting to burn you out. I think maybe you should look into doing colabs with others or bring on a helper. I know doing this type of work solo will sometimes bring you down.

The 720S was a massive success, i'm sure the Mustang will be too, don't rush it, take your time, rest if you need, and it will become something you will be proud of, no doubt !
Bratko, be patient with the Stang. You're doing an awesome job on the Beast, just remember Rome wasn't built in a day......Keep up the mad work Dude love you're content.....
In the trunk, you might want to think about welding a bolt on either side of the trunk before the sound deadening so you have a solid ground point on both sides for whatever grounds you might need. Would be better than a nut and bolt thru the floor because it will be a 100% solid ground spot. Just poke a small hole thru the sound deadening and put a flat washer on top of the bolts. It will be a lot cleaner in the end.
Glad to see you working on the mustang, dodge truck, all the Nissans, that will put few bucks in your pocket.and on to not getting burned out, that happens, nothing gets done.so stay positive and thinking good thoughts.great video.kudos 😎😎😎👍👍👍
