There is a curve with getting a lot of needles as a child. At first, you are really terrified, but eventually, you realize you are used to it and that it doesn't really hurt.
True, personally I also have a thing that certain needles makes me black out but it's not like a fear or something. I just know that I have roughly 2 minutes till lights off and I have to find a place to lie down or sit since when you can't see, hear and your limbs don't listen to you it's a bit hard to stand.
I had to have routine blood drawn and sometimes they give blood thinner or just draw if they found the vein. Just depended on the situation. Now, I'm like let's get this over with. I'm used to those but for some reason the ones in sugar machines surprise me time to time if I have to go check sugar lol
